I remember as a child my controller broke at the start of the game and I was watching in terror panicking as that first zombie comes shambling towards you as I couldn't do anything

Enjoying the sudden attention this game from my teens is getting all of a sudden. Good or bad, Nightmare creatures is dear to me I remember enjoying the cheat codes that let you play as monsters... though it bugged me that you couldn't choose which one per level

yeah, weird they chose to add specific monsters to each level and still ended up with some buggy ones haha still very fun though!

i remember playin this game when i was a kid but i didnt know the title, thx for this flashback man. Thhis game was great and i remember loving it because the fact that you can play as the enemies as well i loved playin as the werewolf

Never heard about this game but I loved the intro of the video, your videos keep getting better and better, I'm really digging this new style.

I was excited when i saw the title of the video. This game was given to me by my uncle, I was about 6 years old. I loved this game growing up but i could never gaet past the 4th level. I would replay the first 3 over and over again. I have fond memories.

I first time heard about Nightmare Creatures from Caddicarus back when he released it in 2015 (then me later trying the demo on my demo disks). It's nice to hear your expanded take on it and interesting there's a big community with a site detailing the game to the fullest.

Yeah, Nightmare Creatures plays nothing like Bloodborne or any Souls game. Outside of the setting, I'm not sure why people started comparing this game to Bloodborne.

lost all interest when i heard "spiritual predecessor for bloodborne", and calling a game that is almost 20 years younger than dark souls "soulslike" the gaming community will literally see anything with a darker more gothic theme or slightly harder than average and link it to soulsborne somehow, this soulsborne fad needs to die

couldn't tell ya as I never played it, but that's what I heard from people I remember when memes came around with everyone saying every game "was just like dark souls!" when it's a tidy bit harder than other games, I can see that being annoying hahah

@@BlooTeg it's true and the soulsborne fad didn't saturate at all, they said dirt rally is the dark souls of racing games and in it my car doesn't stop rolling, truly a spiritual predecessor for bloodborne kart racing
