Jeez, this game was so tough. I had been anticipating the release of the game ever since I saw the gameplay trailer earlier this year. The fact that it was going to be loosely based on the story of Pinocchio and seeing the whole eerie, wonky aesthetic shown in the trailer... I really wanted to play it. I am not much of a gamer, and the only game I've ever actually played completely was Jedi: Fallen Order, so I had no idea what I was getting myself into when I began playing this game. It is TOUGH, but it's worth it. I had a love/hate relationship with this game because it was so frustrating yet I couldn't quit it entirely. I loved it too much to give it up, and I'm glad I didn't.
And can I just say that I love P so, so much? Not gonna lie, I had a little crush on him lmao.
The only thing I wasn't so happy about was that there weren't a whole lot of cutscenes. I wanted more of them. I also wish we could've seen P emote a bit more to show his growth in becoming more human. Or maybe build the dynamic between him and the other characters, especially Gemini. I would have loved it if there were more interactions between P and Gemini.

@@AlexaLexie ooh there's so many good ones! a game similar to Lies of P would be Elden Ring. It's the hardest thing i've ever played XD but the story + lore is amazing once you get into it! Another game i've personally always loved (and find underrated) is Mirror's Edge. The reboot has a pretty solid story, and also a ton of deep lore. Sorry for the info dumping haha but yeah, I highly recommend those. What games have you been wanting to play?

@@sophiesnowpeas5970 I've heard of Mirror's Edge! my sister had played that game and really liked it :) I haven't thought of playing that one, but thinking of it now, I should give it a try! I've had my eye on the Little Nightmares games, and I've also been needing to play the Last of Us as well. Lies of P really caught my eye because from the first trailers released, I saw it had this eerie, wonky, circusy vibe mixed with like steampunk which I thought was really cool :)
