Whats the difference betweenthe GMT vs Compass? I think I view that the Compass have only one sheet of counters. Also the Compass have 1 or 2 maps? Im interested in the smaller version that can get in my table.

Compass is like the original game from 1974. The GMT game is like that one also, but also has other optional rules. The GMT version is much larger and does require much more space.

Second set of counters with NATO symbols rather than traditional X's and ovals for infantry and armor is one difference. More optional rules. Longer rule book....just first impressions on getting, will play this weekend!!
