I'm taking Deth Wizards to our RPG group's monthly open gaming today. Not quite an RPG, but I like to demonstrate how much better combat can be than it is on D&D.

Love the look of this game. And kudos for the Mumm Ra shout out!

I've played 3 co-op story games with a friend, and it really is good fun. I've gone with a Stitcher (Nick Romancer, a troubled soul) and my friend has got a very tanky War Reaper. We're thinking of house ruling the Eruption of Death spell he learned after our first unsuccessful mission as it can be pretty decisive for rushing head first into the enemy before my lumbering horde get anywhere near the action. Even so, it's a really elegant system and we're going to be playing through some of the harder missions over the coming weeks so we might un-nerf the spell again, who knows?

The artwork in this book looks very cool.

Love the 3 games I have played with this system. Would love to see a GMG series with it!

I got Deth Wizards last week as a solo game. I love it! Awesome system, looking forward to seeing some games Ash.

I like the idea behind this game, that and the fact it's a great first game to get into for DnD players with established model collections.

Looks like a hell of a lot of fun. Sadly Rotten Factory seems to be on indefinite hiatus, because their models would be perfect for this.

It is a shame. Their minuatures are awesome.

As a former Ravenloft DM and collector of Undead WHFB armies this sounds like some epic fun. This might also be the type of motivation I finally need to paint all three Lady Dimitrescu minis from Brother Vinnie.

This seems like if Dungeon Master, the video game, was a miniatures game and I love that! Will definitely have to check this out. Really enjoyed Majestic 13.

I bought the book as soon as it came out, awesome theme made by a great youtuber. Space Station Zero was incredible too, and so was Reign in Hell. It's great to see you review the 3 games I've really been interested in recently all at once! (Cohors, Deth Wizards, Talisman)

All I need to play is some fantasy buildings. I was also considering doing a mash-up grimdark post-apocalyptic game set in a future of necromancers terrorizing the wastelands. I have a ton of terrain for that and actually picked up a "cyborg necromancer" 3d print to just paint and it sparked the idea.

That looks really fun. Lovely art too, as you said it’s similar in some ways to the look of Fighting Fantasy art.

An 11 step campaign? I’m surprised that it’s not 13.

Nice! I don't have many fantasy miniatures but man do i have a lot of sci fi miniatures, so I got space station zero 😁

ironic, my physical copies of Deth Wizards and Space Station Zero just came in today.

I have had this since its release and have been building up and painting various types of undead minions ever since. Have been a D&D DM for over 20 years, so I have plenty of heroes, etc. Just like for their game Reign in Hell, I had plenty of devils/demons minis for that game also.

Mystical Slimey Dude is my favorite class of Necromancer.

Perfect excuse to use my Warhammer AoS collection in a different game!

I really should pick this up, put all those Soulblight models to use….

I was not gonna look into this. But I have Cursed City painted..........

Thanks for the video, love the reviews and been enjoying the recent Spearhead content! Something I’ve noticed while wearing headphones is the audio has a weird jumping from left to right constantly as you talk, it’s really distracting 😢😅 not sure if it’s the microphone or what. Anyway just thought I’d mention it! Keep up the great work ❤
