IMO, it is the best 1/2 ton truck that is currently on the market, and you are correct about the brakes. When we went to buy this truck (not that trim), the weird brake feeling was the reason we did not buy it. My wife did not feel safe driving that thing because of the breaks.
Today (Easter Sunday) at Star GMC in Quaker Town, PA I stopped to check one out and to my shock was $104K before tax and destination so figure $110K + if you want to get you some. Only to depreciate it’s ass off in no time. 😂

$104K sticker would be the 3/4 ton 2500HD model with the diesel V8.
Trucks have leaf springs because it helps with towing.
Good review with the right perspective… for most it’s a more luxurious vehicle that can but usually won’t do some amazing things
For this much money and no 35s is a disappointment. Especially when the smaller mid size AEV gets 35s. It’s not end all but when it comes to off Roading it means a lot
Not to be pedantic but the Tundra 1794 isn't their highest trim, it's their "Cowboy trim" (King Ranch, High Country, Longhorn). The top Tundra is Capstone to with Denali and Tungsten from the other brands

This truck will fit in tight trails much easier than a Raptor. Will climb rocks better too. A raptor is for people to take to high speed desert running. Let’s be honest, it’s mostly for doods to show off. The zr2 and at4x is for off-roading

The new ram 1500 tungsten catches my eye as well. More HP and TQ.

Wonder why no one else is saying that. I wonder why it is praised constantly and wins engine of the year constantly

@@fikes73 talk to the gm techs. None of them speak highly of them. Media praised the 6.0 powerstroke when it was newer also
