I love the factory mud flaps on my 2022 GMC, they work great!

I understand removing the mud flaps in the front for tire clearance, but personally I prefer keeping them on the rear. I really like those painted calipers though. They look sharp. I plan on doing that sometime this spring or summer on mine.

I got the same truck “21” had it for 2 yrs. Did the calipers red, got window visors, bug shield, bed cover. Blacked out the side mirror lights, and the little push button the outside door handle. But overall love your truck, and the video content.

Been looking for this! Took the truck on a few light trails while out on a trip in Moab. Completely ripped off two of the stock “mud flaps.”

The kit is an absolutely moronic price. It's literally more than the cost of the oem mudflaps. That's ridiculous.

Yes, new tires were rubbing - this fixed the issue. I did not want to trim it by hand.

I would have left the splash guards...save the body from the rocks and sh*t. I just got a 2021 silverado. It was either that or a 21 Sierra. Got the Silverado because I couldn't stand looking at the shape of the fenders on the GMC lol. And I was coming from a 2016 Sierra.

Not worried about that, side steps will help with that plus they sprayed some rhino liner material to help with that - that chevy might have saved ya a few bucks too! Prices are crazy right now!!!

@@1371ddcantu Ya the rhino lining will help a ton. I thought prices were crazy too, but my silverado was only $35k with 29k miles on it. Full bumper to bumper for 3yrs or 100k miles too.

Silverado has way better fitment to. With 4" readylift (1.75" on trail boss) you can fit 35s pretty easy. On Sierra you can barely squeeze 34s on there without using stock rims or at least a close to stock offset.

Did you notice a slight change in spacing when swapping out the oem to the mud flap delete?

I would not remove those flaps, debris from the road will chip the paint of the doors in no time.

You went with a wider tire not taller 275 is the width 65 is the profile or sidewall

I’m gonna go wider and shorter 😖 those damn 22s on the Denali gonna put a hole in my wallet. 285/45/22 I don’t think the stock 275/50/22 will fit in the Recons. But definitely need wider so the wife won’t mess anymore of the rims😊
