23 or 26ft long, the brakes on these machines are all the same. Many shops these days have very limited experience with this type of work and this is one job where you need to know it was done right. Invest in the basic tools I talk about in this video and you will be able to tackle this at home for only a couple hundred dollars.

Great video! I really appreciated the fact that you show the driver's side fully assembled. Helps to double check your work. The only thing I like to do differently is to put a bead of black RTV around the wheel cylinder before installing to prevent excessive water from getting inside.
Great job explaining how to do this. Last time I did this was on the GMC 25 years ago. Will be replacing wheel cylinders soon and this helps a lot..

Good afternoon Andrew. Thank you for the part numbers for the rear brakes. Might you have part numbers for the front brake calipers or maybe rebuild kits for them ? ? We own a 1973 Canyon Lands with the big heavy GM calipers.

Thank you for this video. I did have a question. I just bought a 76 Eleganza and only going 4 miles, the rear brakes had locked up and started overheating the rig. I am a novice to these. Parking brake was off. Motor is so strong I did not notice dragging or hear it plus never went over 30. Am I missing some special handshake? Cheers

Could be dry bearings. Could be leaky wheel cylinders. 3 out of my 4 wheel cylinders leaked bad. You need to pull all 4 brake drums regardless and make the system 100%. Dont cut corners.
The driver's side is more difficult to assemble because you have to hold everything together with your right hand and compress the spring with your left hand. A comedy of errors for me
