GMC Denali Review - is it King of the GM Trio?

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

In this video I review a 2007 GMC Yukon Denali which is the 3rd generation of the Yukon. Review provides a history of the Yukon and a complete overview of the vehicle inside and out. The Yukon is part of the Chevy Tahoe/Suburban, GMC Yukon/Yukon XL & Cadillac Escalade/Escalade ESV family of Vehicles which are based on the Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra

    Just picked up an 08 Denali with the 6.2L, 126k miles, for $4800. GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME. I've had Silverados, Sierras, F150's, F250's, and I'll never own another vehicle. This tank does everything those trucks did and I can fit the whole fam! Just going to buy up all the 07-08 Denalis I can find hahaha. These trucks rock!

    The best of gmc denali! Long life motors! Transmission may not last as the motor but just replace it! Well 300k miles No problem of course with maintenance like should be that’s very important if you want to have a last long denali 👍🏻

    I bought a 2007 Yukon XL Denali for $1200 USD ($1500 CAD) full service records from the second owner. Only 119k miles (191k km). Was a great price. Engine, transmission, brakes, suspension all in excellent condition. I’m in southern Ontario so there was surface rust I had to take care of plus some dents. I put in another $1200 USD ($1500 CAD) into it (had some of the rust professionally addressed and the remainder myself) and it looks GREAT. Cannot complain. $2400 for a fully sorted out Yukon XL Denali with 119k miles? I can sell it for $10-$12k right now if I wanted but I’m keeping it!

    I just bought a 2008 yukon XL Denali and I absolutely love it. Mine has the black interior and I another fetcher that I like is the upgraded touchscreen radios wich is way better than the stock radios in that Era. And the backup cam screen is on that radio/navigation screen wich is sooo much better then in the rear view mirror.

    @@dennisquintanilla6999 That’s awesome man! I’m glad you got a good deal on one! That’s LOW miles esp for a 2011 from what I’ve been seeing in my area. I did end up getting a 2010 model and I’m loving it! I love the space it offers, seating capacity, ground clearance, toughness, dependability, and V8 sound. It runs and drives great, very comfortable and roomy. Took my whole family on a cross country trip (Don’t worry - we tested negative for covid before and after the trip. We kept to ourselves) im looking to upgrade the headunit to something more modern with Bluetooth but I hope it’s compatible with the backup camera. I put so many miles on it - over 8000 miles in just a short time! Lol!

    I have a 2001 Chevy Suburban with over 320,000 miles on it and the engine runs PERFECT. It doesn't use a drop of oil on long trips and the only drawback is the mpg which is 16 mpg; however, it's a very safe car to drive. I'm a bit shy about trusting the newer GM vehicles, because the AFM systems are not reliable - being reliable is very important for me given I drive long distances in Mexico during tours.

  • @nicholasmoser1918

    @nicholasmoser1918

    Now they do make tunes to rid of the AFM and these 3rd generation yukons and burbans are tanks come in AWD or 4x4 and flex fuel as well as a 5.3 6.0 and 6.2 crazy options love these trucks !

  • @dennishassler605

    @dennishassler605

    2 ай бұрын

    @@nicholasmoser1918 Yes, I am aware, but today they build the trucks different - it's like they put the engine on the frame and build the vehicle around all that, but placement of the cabin further to the front is nice, BUT they are putting part of the A/C system inside the cabin, so it's hard to access - you have to pull out the dash just to service it when there's a problem. My old Suburban is still running fine, so why buy a new one? I drive a lot in Mexico and it's best to have a more modest vehicle - best not to be too flashy and, then, if there's an accident you may never see your car again - so don't drive an expensive, new SUV in Mexico.

I think imma go ahead and pick it up since I've seen Burbans and yukons with over 500,000 miles and still going. High miles don't scare me.
