Thanks, I removed the little key ring and was about to it myself with a knife trying to pry the key fob open from the bottom before watching your video. This afternoon, my truck was acting crazy and wouldn’t lock. After a quick Google search I found that one of the culprits could be a low key fob battery, and it was.

All you need is a dime to open the fob. There is a dime slot in the middle just to the right of where you are prying with the screw driver (see video at 0:31). Pops open the back and does not mar up the fob seams like a screwdriver does.

Do a video on replacing the worn out front cover
