In this video, we discuss GMAT vs GRE: Which one should you give?
It used to be fairly straightforward: if you wanted to go for an MBA program - you give the GMAT exam.
However, in recent years, many business schools have started accepting both, GRE and GMAT
But which one should you give?
Let's look at some points
✅ GMAT features a more difficult Quantitative part while the verbal section of the GRE isn't the easiest for everyone
✅ In the GMAT, the difficulty changes with each question depending if you got it right or wrong whereas, for the GRE, your score on the entire section determines the difficulty of the next section
✅ Once you’ve answered a question you cannot go back to that question in GMAT but on the GRE you can return to questions you’ve already answered within a section.
So look at your strengths and decide which one's the best for you.
If you don’t like learning words and their meanings, consider GMAT
If you are not good at pressure management with every changing question, consider GRE
And lastly, check with the schools you want to apply to.
Most accept both but a few only accept one of them.
