Learn how to solve Problem Solving question #207 in the GMAT Official Guide 2020, page 178. Thank you so much! I dreaded this item on the OG and the answer explanation just made me even more confused.. wish I had discovered you earlier in my GMAT prep (I'm about to re-take next week as I bombed my initial take). Anyway, these free materials have been very helpful! Bless you!

    At 4:50 mark “2500 over 125 is 20%” isn’t that mistake? 125 is 5% of 2500

You're over-thinking it. With this making up numbers strategy, you're simply looking for an answer choice that matches your answer when you plug in the same variables. It's as simple as that. When we solved the question using our make up numbers, we got 20 (percent) as the answer. So now we're simply looking for an answer choice that also equals 20. When you divide 2500 by 125, you get 20. They match. That's all you're looking for.
