OMG, GM L’ami calm demeanor in the face of his life-threatening tribulations is inspiring. I wish him & his family the very best of luck; as he is under 40, I believe statistically the odds are on his side. I only know about various forms of blood/bone marrow cancer like his because I was recently diagnosed with having LC-MCUS, an untreatable abnormality of the blood’s immunity proteins which always precedes, but fortunately doesn’t always lead to blood or bone marrow cancer. Even with only seeing him on video a few times, it's hard not to get the sense that Erwin is a truly decent guy, so much so that it was a shock to hear he has cancer. I wish him the best of luck with his health and his life, and more Dutch Championships!
