Hey Jeff, I’m looking for the video(s) you told me about… changing/replacing the valve lifters on a 6.2L Yukon Denali engine, but have come up empty so far. Can you point me in the right direction? Also, if you have/can share a list of pertinent parts to replace while working on the lifter?… gaskets, etc? Or maybe you can tell me which kit you recommend? Thanks homey!!

Mail order tuner is the place I recommend to get all the parts needed for an AFM delete. They have complete kit with MLS head gaskets, new TTY head bolts, lifter trays, delphi LS7 lifters, and valley pan for like $600. All you need in addition to their kit is a non AFM 3 bolt camshaft and 3 bolt 4x timing gear and send your computer to them to tune it. New fluids and you're good to go. If you've never done it before, be prepared to spend a week figuring everything out. If you are looking for a couple of bandaid fixes to try to solve your problem at least temporarily, you can sometimes get your lifters to unfreeze with a couple of techniques. #1 - take the valve cover off and locate with lifter is stuck by finding the rocker that isnt tight. Then take the rockers off and spray some berrymans b-12 down the pushrod hole and let it soak. Crank it up and run it for a few minutes and see if the lifter unfreezes. Then changes the oil. #2 - remove the intake and the valley pan. Insert a brass punch (long and skinny) down the oil port of the lifter that is frozen and tap it with a hammer until the lifter pops up and pushes the pushrod against the rocker.
