Sometimes they'll come out sometimes they won't. Next time try heat and then touch a candle to it. The wax helps the threads. This Bracket is an excellent option for those who can't get them to come out. Stay Grindin Stay Cool BOAB 😎

I learned something new today. Good to know. They will sure get you out of a bind if needed. Thanks for sharing. You are correct about this heat. It's tough to get much done when it's hitting close to 100.

For Mig with gas the ground should be on the negative side and the gun on the positive side, polarity flips when running without gas (flux core). I run gas 100% of the time and never change polarity regardless of material thickness. I use my small Lincoln SP135 mig on sheet metal up to 1/8 thick. Looks good, good luck either way.

You're looking good I like the way you explained how to repair the engine using that kit that bolts on to the block. I was also wondering what kind of gauge cluster are you using or what do like for your projects thanks again for sharing.😎👍

I’ve had to do this on 10+ 5.3’s. But this only works if the center studs aren’t broken off. If the center studs are gone, then this won’t do anything. You’d have to tac weld a nut on and manually remove the studs and put new titanium or chromoly bolts in. The chromoly and titanium bolts are far more expensive, but last indefinitely longer and will not snap off unless you try to pull them off again and snap them off using force.
