Well guys i caved and got myself an iternal slave cylinder. If it works as good as it looks im sure i will be quite pleased. (EDIT) follow the manufacturer instructions! I did not put enough shims in.

You need between .100 and .150 of clearance as the clutch wears the fingers or forks move towards the bearing. The bearing should NOT be turning when you release unless you enjoy replacing it often. You cannot preload the diaphragm of the pressure plate, ever...

I personally would have went back and put a 90 or at the very least a 45 on that bleeder line just because I worry about rub through and I hate redoing work.

How did this turn out? It seemed that you spent little time adjusting the clearance. Looking at speedways directions it said to have .050-.100" clearance, which is not at all what you said in the video. Did you have to reset your clearance?

Oh interesting, i think i got my specs from another channel. But as of yet its still unfinished, so i may very well have to reset it.

Does that throwout bearing bleed ok? I oriented mine as upward as possible to let the air travel upwards to make it easier.

Do you have any update on this install? I had this set up trying to do it with a Muncie 4 speed on an aluminum 5.3, and Im curious to see how you adjusted it after the fact

I actually havnt adjusted it at all. Probably could take a shim or 3 out of it. Not enough pedal free play

Not using the metric system is such a pain in the ass. All kinds of unnecessary math and fractions instead of mm 9+10=? 31-9=?
