GLUTEN FREE options in EDINBURGH | options for coeliacs and beyond
Last week I've visited a bunch of GF friendly spots in Edinburgh and thought I'd bring you along! I had a great time exploring all the sans-gluten option in our town - do you have any faves I missed?

Thank you Paul! I really appreciate that .)
I am here because I messaged you on Instagram asking for a gluten free Edinburgh video! Alas, here it is! Very thoughtful video as always.
I love your productions! So pleasant and caring of specific needs all at the same time! Canadians will adore you for saying 10 of yer 12 months are cold! #relateable

Haha yes I find that Canadians find a lot of Scottish lifestyle quite relatable .D ! As a heat-hater I can only say that cold countries are the best countries!
Thank you so much. My wife's mother is coeliac. She has been isolating because of other health reasons during the pandemic a trip to Edinburgh may be on the cards. 😊😊
Cool stuff. Even thought I'm a not a gluten free person, everything you upload is interesting. That Brazilian crepe Simon had was gigantic! I've read about a few other places you visited, as I like to make list of options for when I get back to Edinburgh, etc. Thank you, your attitude gives me a smile... keep enjoying life and be well!
Great that you mentioned Low Fodmap Diet...A Diet that rarely gets mentioned...👍
Wonderful! Just sent this to my Glaswegian celiac friend, in Edinburgh this weekend.

10/10. The Coeliac community thanks you!!
Thank you for this, @kakibot. Especially the GF Fish and Chips recommendation -----> I was worried that I would travel all the way to the UK, and not be able to partake! The other recommendations looked great, too. Thank you again ~

Great video! And really good to know if we ever visit Edinburgh 🥰 (which we really want to!!!)
I saw Gluten Free + Edinburgh = I'm here! :D EDIT: Gluten free FISH AND CHIPS?! I'm sold! Also, I'm sorry to correct you- It's spelt Coeliac x I'm a Coeliac and this video was really useful!

You see I thought it was Coeliac - but then on the website where people review GF places, people self identified as celiacs - confusing! Now I'm seeing that it might be UK vs US spelling!

@@Kakibot I think you might be right about the US/UK difference!

I've just booked my first solo trip to Edinburgh and your videos are making me so excited! If you haven't already, could you do a video about the best small/indie businesses to shop at? I really want to shop local while I'm there :)

That's a great idea - when are you travelling? I think I covered a bit of this last year before Christmas, so if you delve deep enough into the video library I'm sure you're gonna spot it! Hope you have a great time when you're in Edinburgh .)

Like you, I’m not a gluten-free gal but when sugar daddies moved away from where I lived I was so angry. Their cookies are amazing!
Where else do you like to go for gluten free food, and what gluten free alternatives are your favourites?
Thank you!!!!!!!!
I’d love to know if there any healthy keto cafes in Edinburgh😊 or what are the options for keto diet peeps
Really helpful, @kakibot! My OH has to stick to a GF and dairy-free diet, so Sugar Daddy's looks great. Can also recommend the City Restaurant (next door to Festival Theatre) for tasty GF fish and chips.

Hi, maybe not really your area but there are some cool plant shops opening up now in Edinburgh like 'Grow Urban' (which does coffee too), maybe a plant shop video?? Or plant shop section in a broader 'household things you can buy' video?? Just an ikea, sorry idea.

Hey Paul! Definitely an interesting idea - maybe when my friend who is an absolute Plant Mom comes over from Denmark, I could take her on a little plant shop tour .) personally I am more of an accidental plant murderer than a plant parent 😂

@@Kakibot There's always time! 9 times out of ten it's overwatering!
I have been researching content on KZread to find the most GF country in western Europe. Definitely leaning toward Scotland after this video. Would you say these businesses are still around? I see this is 2 years old. Thanks!

I know Union of Genius has announced they are planning to close the business, but I think others are still going! I live close to GF cafe and they seem to still be going, Tupiniquim is still around, and the GF fish and chips are also still open!

ps, now that you've lived here so long, do you think in English or Czech?

Mostly English I think! Same for dreams. I really have an embarrassingly small amount of contact with Czech speakers these days ./
Just left Edinburgh could have done with this lol
