Magnificent! What's the cube made of, steel or Nickel? You should try similar things with different metal elements. Like, get a cobalt cube, a nickel cube, vanadium, iron, chromium, copper, zinc, lead, titanium, manganese, aluminum, silicon, tin, indium, antimony, tellurium, tungsten, and some other, harder to get ones like silver, yttrium, zirconium, rhenium, scandium, gold, platinum, tantalum, osmium, etc. Harder to get not simply due them not being available, but due to the price. But, that's what I excel at and I could probably find links to all of them for you if you decided to do such a thing. That would be badass! 😃
@FloridaFoxAnthillArt

I would love to do this I’m currently purchasing balls of various alloys. You would be surprised how expensive some of these things cost that is the main problem I have which is funds slowy I’ll work on getting everything. going to stick to Alloys that won’t melt And are capable of holding tremendous amounts of heat.

@@FloridaFoxAnthillArt ok, awesome! Yeah I know what you mean about the price. I acquire a lot of elements in bulk and turn around and resell them in small amounts to make them more available to the average collector, teacher, student, KZread channels, etc and I also deal in chemicals for science experiments. Some of which can get crazy expensive it hard to get. A lot of them the sellers won't ship to anything but a business or laboratory. I bridge that gap for teachers and students and make certain things available as I get them. So yeah, I know what you're going through in terms of finding certain things and have all kinds of ideas that you might be interested in trying. But do you have access to any sort of cutting or CNC or machining tools? If you're able to cut most metals and shape them, I could definitely find stock or scrap end pieces that could be fashioned into what you need if you can do such a thing. Or, if you can get your furnace hot enough, you might be able to melt and mild your own cubes and balls. Do you think you could get your furnace that hot? That might be easier and cheaper in the long run, though I'm not familiar with your setup and what you are able to do. So I'm just trying to find out as much as I can before I start searching for links. On another note, have you thought about making certain alloys and showing how to do it and what the new alloy is like? There are tons of alloy of many dozens of different metals that are awesome and some that even turn to liquid at room temperature, some that will soak into and completely destroy aluminum and most other metals, some that will cause aluminum to grow what looks like a spiderweb of hair, all kinds of nutty stuff! I can hook you up with all of that information and could possibly help out by giving you some of the metals to work with to do things like that if you're interested?
@FloridaFoxAnthillArt

@@BackYardScience2000 dang! That’s cool as hell so many things are protected from individuals solely. Currently I work out of a 8 x 8 shed filled to the brim with stuff maybe if KZread and TickTock do better then I can purchase and afford Much better space and equipment. With bar stock though I may be able to find a machine shop near me that could machine balls and cubes fairly cheaply compared to buying them already made at least I assume. I believe my furnace can get hot enough to melt copper but nothing really past that Since the insulation isn’t good enough and I believe propane just can’t get a certain temperature no matter what.If I have to end up melting it I’ll buy a acetylene torch And that will allow me to melt most elements Tungsten I don’t think can be melted by that though. I just started out this year so I will probably branch out and try making alloys etc.Nordic gold is a cool one I really like gallium like you said mercury is a cool element that makes aluminum expand into the hair like that I’m a big fan of nile read and a lot of other science channels. But when it comes Down to working with these materials Some are toxic and deadly ect and in currently un equipped with knowledge and expertise.

For anyone that didn't know, you cannot melt plastic that has water in it.

Hola guapa
