It’s because Floyd didn’t specify what brand of gloves Maidana can & CANT wear. Maidana wasn’t braking any rules of the contract so that’s why Floyd had to pay him. They agreed on $1.5 million. Floyd’s lucky he didn’t just let him wear them because he would have got slept. That’s why Robert Garcia brings out a big massive glove 🥊 on stage in the 2nd fight presss conference saying are these big enough Floyd 😂 the glove was half the size of Robert .

Hitchins wants to be Mayweather so bad... first it was tapping his opponent with the belt at the weigh in (like Floyd did vs Canelo) then it was the "put him in the same shit as me" when they were trying on the gloves (like Floyd did vs Maidana) 😂

So this is the same thing that happened with Fliyd vs Miadana. The gloves with hitchens name one it texture looks different. They were cracked a bit. Same with Miadana first pair. The second pair looks smoother. Floyd didnt let Miadana use the first pair because the looked broken in. Hitchens first pair looked broken in. I think this came from whoever customized and put Hitchens name on them. Same with Miadana blue pair. They were customized with Argentina flag so it might be because they are getting lazer printed and its causing the cloves to heat up a bit wich changes the texture.
