No matter how many Rico fights I watch, I still find myself in awe at how massive his legs are. When they say "It's like getting hit with a tree trunk" this guy is literally just that. Imagine how bad those leg kicks coming in at normal speed to the thighs hurt.

@@laal6290 Believe me, from 24 to 32 it is a big difference in term of condition, testosterone production, cardio, etc Profesional atlets after 30 years from year to year begin to lose performance of the body and sharpnes of the mind! Look at C Ronaldo who it is 37 and people are amazed that he is in very good shape because in world of sports people know how the things are! And not all atlets have the same genetics, like Ronaldo just a small part of the atlets, like him!

My all time favourite fight! It was great from the beginnig till the end; both fighters giving their all and matching their powers so that it should have ended being a 4th round match.

But put in him vs Aerts or Hoost, or even Remy in their prime, he'd be knocked out in the first round... Kickboxing is heavily downgraded, lost its popularity, no good fighters are kickboxing anymore, they all do MMA now...

TY for the up excellent quality..very good fight a fair win for Rico (not to take anything away from a great fighter like Daniel) but in my view at the end he ran out of steam..

What a fight

A King is born

Kinda fustrating to see Rico never goes all-out in his punches. He lands one or two medium strikes at best, then his defense goes back up,even when his opponent has nowhere to go. That is the only thing he lacks if you set him next to the K-1 champions of the past. But everyone has his signatures to be remembered by. Rico is probably the best technical fighter. Altho it's hard to compare, those of the old days were more stylish. More playfull, taking way more risks. Especially Murasaki lol. Nowadays it's all serious business.

His humility is what I find most impressive about Rico.

Rico Trains for volume and cardio more, he loses a bit of explosiveness, you can't have everything, it is a trade off and it is working perfectly for Rico. Average power punches but relentless.

You see these kind of fights in “mma” all the time and Rico doesn’t do “mma” because he’d be picked up and dumped on his back and get his head dribbled off the canvas like a basketball . Then again you asked why he doesn’t do “ufc” so I’m guessing you have no idea about kick boxing or mma and just wanted to post a comment you thought would get tons of likes and don’t actually give a shit about Rico, kickboxing , or mma.
