He didn't had sponsors etc...he was working his 9 to 17 job so he can provide for his family after kick box career. This is how it is in Croatia for most talented people...

Croatia and Netherlands both little countries but always got badass fighters at the top.

Both great fighters. I’d love to see a rematch. Mladen is getting better with every fight. Just as Rico did. Lot of haters in the comments by teenage keyboard warriors with the IQ of an ashtray, disrespecting great fighters.

Brestovac is born warrior! For him fight is just part of His nature. He work daily job in post office. No training like pro fighter.

Rico est très fort sur les attaques au niveau des jambes, idem avec les genoux de + il est toujours ou presque en attaque et il a un point fort aussi, il a presque toujours une meilleure condition physique que ses adversaires de + je ressens qu'il a un "don divin" pour la bagarre, une sorte de + un peu mystérieux, inexplicable ... Une très grande souplesse aussi bref je pense pouvoir dire qu'il a toutes les qualités d'un combattant hors pair, ce guerrier je le compare au célèbre Spartacus ... C'est mon idole du kick-boxing !!!!!

I come from the netherlands and can understand the things they say to him during breaks. Put your hands up etc etc. Love the comment from the trainer at17:40, don't play with him, he can rest that way hahaha

Brestovac, didn’t look like he was even there.

Leuk om rico weer in de ring te zien. Maar vondt het saai wedstrijd waar ik slaap van kreeg. Het was niet spannend ofzo. Vraag me af of er geen tegenstanders zijn die rico kunnen verslaan. Voor het laats toen ik rico Verhoeven op achterstand zag kwa punten dat was in december 2016 tegen badr hari. Maargoed blessures etc. Nu afwachten tot badr hari de oude word dan verwacht ik toch winst voor badr. Wel december 2018 . Want september is te vroeg. En badr heeft tijd nodig om goed trainen. Omdat hij vast heeft gezeten

Shit thought this was the fight of tonight, does anybody have a proper link? No disrespect, but Mladan looks are quite misleading, i would never thought he's a fighter. Whatever Brestovac's corners' advice was during the period before the 3rd was clearly a mistake. Maybe they were telling him to be less defensive & start throwing more (judging from Brestovac's actions in the 3rd)... but that actually opened Brestovac to more counters from Verhoeven.

trainer said him that he must start with combination body body head,because in first two round he is to passive and only boxing without legs or throw low kick and dont use hand after that..

there is no pleasure in this fight ıf you compare old school fight...

The stats has nothing to do with the scoring tho. The judges are sitting next to the ring and btw glory very often is not able to chose the judges. They are assigened by the bond that operate in that area. Also did you really have it scored different?? Talk about biased...
