This is actually really awesome if you think about it. 1- you have 2 saw plades vs 1. So in theory its longer lasting. 2- if you know what your doing when it comes to woodworking you could do much more detailed cuts in the bush. Way, dove tail knotches or flush cutting wood dowels 3- less bulk. Aside from being smaller, the handle lays flatter than most folding saws. I wouldnt rule this product out IMHO.

Pull saws don’t need thickness. The slight flexibility allows for flush cutting dowels etc….

I've just got one and they are currently £8.95! So cheap and cheerful. The box mine came in is much bigger than the one you had, wonder why??

That's really interesting 🤔. Great to swipe a good deal when you can 😉.

Of course that flimsy blade is actually Japanese tempered steel , you can hear it ping , I’ve got Japanese tempered cooks knives very sharp and bendy ( to a degree) . These saws are meant for fine cutting of joints etc , where finesse is needed not brute strength 😊👍👍👍
