Shame on those who are saying that the legendary Gloria Estefan was the least talented and least accomplished diva in DIVAS LIVE 1998. That's your opinion and your opinion is misinformed and as such, downright wrong. The truth is, Gloria Estefan brought the biggest band and had the longest solo performance that evening. You can say that she was the ONE DIVA who gave the most to the audience that night. She also worked the hardest. Look at the liner notes in your DIVAS LIVE CD or Cassette Tape. Now, as for her accomplishments, Gloria Estefan still holds The Guinness Book of World Records Certification for "Best Selling Artist of Latin Music (Female)", which is a tremendous achievement considering that there are other big-selling Latin acts like Shakira, JLo, and Christina Aguilera. Gloria Estefan also has TWO Billboard Hot 100 #1 Songs; The timeless ballads "Anything For You" and "Don't Wanna Lose You". Gloria has sold more than 100 Million Records worldwide, has won 8 GRAMMY Awards, and she was even nominated at the OSCARS. So before you run your mouth, make sure you are informed.

@@MaarrrccccNo, it was not supposed to fall behind her. Gloria actually was reluctant on wearing the shawl due to what could actually happen did happen. That’s why she chuckled when the shawl fell behind her and nearly tripped back due to it.
