A few weeks back, Dion Agius and crew embarked on a journey to an unknown land. A journey for waves. A journey that would bring Dion to unleash on the world's best man made wave. A studio for surfing. Smack in the middle of a desert mountain range in a foreign land.
There was a concept. A concept involving 10 Russian models, a Lamborghini, and Dion boosting virtually every air in the book, plus a couple new ones. Electric blue water contrasting against wild mountainous backdrops.
A story was captured. Captured through the lenses of Joe G, DJ Struntz, Beren Hall, and Grady Archbold. Motion & Still. Film & HD. The story will be told through the pages of our global media partners and through this short film directed by Joe G.

Absolutely brilliant clip in every inch!! Watch it, fall in love, then take your surfboard to the beach !! Great honors to the producers of this incredible video. You can watch it 100 times and still you do not get enough.

This video came out 3 months before we moved to Dubai and I was frothing! I'm from Cincinnati. We moved to Dubai for 3 years(2012-2015) and I learned how to surf at the pool and the small wind swells(max one foot overhead, but mostly chest high)on the Arabian Sea shores of Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman. You could also get the occasional typhoon swell on the east coast in Fujairah. Typhoons would come in from the south of the Gulf of Oman. The pool is actually in Al Ain, about 1.5 hour drive from Dubai. It's a really fun drive. Speed limit is 120 kmh. The speed traps(one every other mile)only give you a ticket if your doing 141. Legally driving at 86 miles an hour is pretty sweet. Going with some locals that know which cameras are busted, even cooler. It's not cheap. 6 spots each session(too many). $27 park entrance and $27 an hour in the pool . I would go with couple locals or other expats and we would buy two spots each session($54 USD each). A wave dumps out every 90 seconds. 3 hours of just 3 of us and your dead by the end of the session. When the surf is flat in Dubai, this helped until the next swell arrived.

@@jarekharmening8993 Legally can drive 86. Between the cameras you average 100-120 locals way faster. You just need to know where the cameras are. 😉
