Taking ownership and actually being sustainable are worlds apart. I wish them all the success, flying needs to be disrupted by new players.

Well, it has to be hubbish, so JFK-LHR or LAX-LHR. Maybe to max out pax capacity, LAX-JFK-LHR?

I imagined Global Airlines' first year will have at least 10 routes and 5 aircraft.

Why are the horizontal stabilizers painted red? I thought control surfaces like wings and stabilizers weren’t allowed to be painted.

@@umeshurocks This is not about the purchase price (yes I know it is cheap). But was referring to Tim Clark's comment on the ongoing maintenance costs for '380 parts/ labor/ training (for all concerned). Also the fact that Emirates outbound flight fuel is very heavily subsidized compared to other airlines. Global will find it difficult to make these running costs work.

Global Airlines will restart the A380s YAY! Also, Lufthansa will never retire the Boeing 747s anytime soon :).
