The story behind this playlist with the line "let's just keep going until we no longer can" (paraphrasing) and the slowly depleting gas tank and timer counting down is making me feel all sorts of emotions 😭 Combined with the serene atmosphere of the music, I just imagine a pilot making peace and enjoying the view for as long as they can before the end they know is coming.

2:39 '다 닳을 때까지' 라는 말이 '다다를 때까지' 라고도 들려서 오묘하다..

첫번째 곡이 너무 좋아서 조금 찾아봤는데 암투병으로 떠나신 어머니에게 작별인사를 위해 만들었네요 곡을 쓰다가 우연히 90년대의 여동생과 어머니가 정원에서 찍은 사진을 보고 그때 그 시절의 온도와 기억 색깔들을 노래로써 각인시키기 위해 담아냈다고 하네요 알고나니까 더 감명깊게 들리는군요

This just made me imagine a cute little chill exploration videogame with a colorful post-apocalyptic world where you have to guide your glider/plane to different areas and islands to discover a beautiful story. I don't know if it exists, but I'm gonna make it, mark my words, give me a couple of years and you will play it. Usually post apocalypse are a few years or even 10 years after the apocalypse. What you are thinking of is a Post Post Apocalypse genre. Generations pass by and new civilizations are birthed from the ashes of the old. I personally call this genre the Civilization Reborn genre or the Null Apocalypse genre. I would classify the Null Apocalypse genre where the pains of the past are so far gone out of the protagonists way. But you can see the remnants of the previous generations decades ago. And sometimes, these remnants have direct influence on the world or the people living in said world. Something like Horizon Zero Dawn or even Fallout in some locations. As for Horizon, there were people influenced by the tech from the old world and you can see it affect the tribes but in unexpected. Instead of seeing the machines as simply machines. They see them as simply "animals" or even gods that propagate the land. As for Fallout, the cities are definitely influenced from the bombs 200+ years ago. But they build up on it and make homes for themselves with either the old tech or from the tech they make for themselves. Sometimes even certain Ghibli films has that taste too. It is called a Null Apocalypse because while apocalypse happened and people suffered, it did not stop the people from progressing and using the pre-apocalyptic world in its creation. Civilization Reborn reflects more of an apocalyptic event as simply background. It is essentially lore building. Ultimately, has no real effect on the current events of the story. Its history and items will pop out but the story does not really revolve around the old world. So think Adventure Time. There was a previous civilization at one point in the series way back then. But it affected very few of our current characters of the series. It is amazing by the way. But there are also other characters with different backgrounds that are not influenced by the previous civilization. It is just there. This is called Civilization Reborn because Civilization is made where the influences of the old world are either minimal or diminished all together. It does not mean it is not made from the past. It just sometimes mean that past has little actual influence to the current world or plot. Solarpunk might be a helpful source of ideas for creating either a Null Apocalypse or Civilization Reborn genre. That is dependent on you though. Solarpunk is mostly utopic world building but I personally believe you can find more Null Apocalypse genres with them. Because they are tied with Zero Waste peoples and so on.

The short background story in the beginning was a nice addition to this amazing playlist. It made me feel sorrow for the pilot 😢 Glide on

이 채널은 단순히 이미지의 중요성 보다도 네러티브의 중요성을 너무나 잘 아는 듯. 분명 지루할 법한 텍스트인데도 불구하고 계속 흥미를 유발시키면서 검은 화면 뒤에 펼쳐지는 일러스트가 이 모든 플레이리스트의 깊이감을 미친듯이 증폭시켜버림. 그리고 저 계기판. 저거 때문에 영상을 보는 시청자도 그 모든 끝을 받아들이는 듯한 기분을 느끼게 해줌. 진짜로 플레이리스트 채널 중에서는 역대급이 아닐까 싶다.

“Alright, great job everyone! Let’s head back to base.” My team leader’s voice is scratchy through the old transmitters, but the message still brings a smile to my face, and I can’t help but cheer with the others. Another island has been spotted, so more colonists can spread out and off our cramped temporary settlements. With a successful day done, I can take it easy. I flick a switch to bring down my shutters, and sunlight hits my face through the plexiglass windows. My teammates dip and sway their gliders, weaving between one another like the birds that skim over the water. I mimic them, dipping down until my wingtips just touch the surface, and then bursting back up into a barrel roll, sending a spray around and onto nearby gliders. There’s some lighthearted “hey”s from the planes around me. I can hear laughter and chatter through my headset, and smile wider than I have in days. Things are looking up. Humanity is getting a second chance.

Kinda funny I thought the story would take a "and the recording stopped. Its been 4 years since I've last had contact with them"turn but I like your ending because of how dreamy it feels

this is one of the peak of Post apocalyptic music right there, It literally make me feels something i haven't felt in quite a long time, thank you for this masterpiece of music

@@eloinpuga The kind you're probably thinking of is total chaos and disorder. This is about 9 years after the apocalypse, so the songs are not meant to sound loud or chaotic, but rather calm and ambient, but also sound a bit sad, since the person has been alone for 9 years

그냥 가자, 다 닳을때까지. 이 한 문장이 저를 살렸습니다. 끝없는 자기혐오와 많은 실패와 고난이 반복되는 상황에서 참 많이 힘들어했습니다. 이 한 문장을 보는 순간, 제 깊은 마음 속에 있던 무엇인가가 일렁이더군요. 스위치를 탁 누른듯 뭔가 켜진 기분이었습니다. 그래서 저는 제 인생에서 저를 짓누르고있던 모든걸 벗어던지고 그 길로 유럽여행을 하고 있어요. 낮달님이 저를 살리셨고, 활공이라는 플리가 저를 살렸습니다. 이 플리 제목인 ‘활공’처럼 저도 비행기를 타고 활공하는 순간 응어리가 한꺼번에 팍 터지더라구요. 유럽으로 날아가는 그 비행내내 눈물을 흘렸습니다. 그동안 억눌러온 무엇가를 겨우 토해내듯이. 낮달님, 참 감사하고 또 고맙습니다. 저를 살리셨어요.ㅎㅎ

I feel that sometimes too, it's not something I've found a way to truly describe to anyone. It's just something you feel, and then maybe, possibly somebody will know what you feel too.

이 플리가 올라온지 이제 한 달여가 되었지만, 여전히 아껴듣고 또 계속해서 듣는 플리예요. 아포칼립스라 하더라도 어떤 곳에 있을 미지의 희망에 시선을 맞추며, 알 수 없는 미래를 향해 두려움대신 "한 번 해보자"라는 기분이 들게 해주는 정말 좋은 플리. 낮달님의 영상은 계속 눈여겨봐왔지만 선뜻 구독은 못 누르고 있었는데 이 플리를 보고 결국 구독 버튼을 누를 수 밖에 없었어요. 단순한 플리가 아니라 듣는 사람으로 하여금 생각을 불러일으키고, 선정된 음악들에도 기존에 자신들이 만들어졌던 의도 이상의 것들을 부여해 새롭게 숨쉬게 하기에 낮달님은 자체로 콘텐츠가 되어가고 있지 않으실까 생각합니다. 창작의 고뇌와, 생각하던 것이 현실로 만들어졌을 때의 충만함을 알기에 낮달님이 영상에 담아주신 정성을 한 조각 훔쳐 공감하고갑니다.

플리를 기획하고, 편집하면서 제가 의도했던 감정을 완벽하게 느껴주셔서 정말 행복하고 감사할 따름입니다. 떠올려보면 이 플리도 첫 곡 선정 후 나머지 셋업에만 꼬박 일주일이 걸렸던 것 같아요. 잠자는 시간 빼고 서사를 어떻게 꾸밀지만 고민 고민하면서 기획했던 플리인데,,제 방구석 망상이 넓게 펼쳐진 것 같아 참 좋아요 :) 소중한 구독 감사드리고, 새해 복 많이 받으세요!

이게 진짜 플레이 리스트 '영상'이지. 이미지만 한두개 넣고 끝인 영상들보다 몰입도 더 잘되고 훨씬 와닿는듯

I love the mix, and also how it's connected to the 'Return to Earth' video. The same planet (GLD-917) was referenced, which implies that the logs are from the same character. Combining the two, we've got a story about a lone astronaut (with no family but their dog) sent into space to examine a potentially new habitable world (discovered too late to save humanity, evidently), returning home after an unnamed apocalypse, searching earth for 10 years to try to find survivors, and when they're about to run out of fuel, just letting go and flying at full speed, enjoying one last moment of peace/calm/fun. Very melancholy, but hauntingly beautiful. I love it, and it fits the music perfectly. I'll have to look through the rest of the videos to see if there's other connections that add to this.

기획력이 엄청난 영상이다. 마치 한 편의 영화를 보는 것 같았고, 소설 속의 주인공이 된 기분이었다. 주인장의 채널에 들어가서 다른 영상들도 보고 싶은 욕구가 강하게 밀려 들었지만, 도무지 이 플레이리스트를 떠날 엄두가 나질 않았다. 정적이지만 역동적인. 찰나같은 시간이 나를 그대로 관통했다.

I was writing as I listened. Needless to say this playlist became the soundtrack of the story. Thanks for putting all these songs together. I'm absolutely going to look up more of Thomas Bergersen that epic piece at the end was just amazing. Oh little intro with the files and the presumably farewell recording really set the stage. The draining fuel gauge is a great addition as well. 👍

Ohhh yes, Thomas Bergersen and the orchestra he has, Two Steps From Hell have some of the most amazing compositions I've ever heard. Its hard categorizing them, but every single piece they do is a other worldly experience, and if you listen with your heart, you can hear and feel the messages and stories he tries to put through. Some of my favorites are Creation of Earth, Flight of the Silverbird and Rocket to the Moon

I absolutely love this. This music reminds me that no matter how dire the situation is, there is always beauty to be found around you if you just stop long enough to take it in…

So cool playlist. Loved the little interaction in the begining. I don't understand Korean sadly, but I imagined to be an explorer far far out in the galaxy, deep in the black, and founds a planet with a vast ocean in his/her plane, and flying trough the sky the first time and listening to this playlist, lovely. :)

The earth is submerged and they’re low on fuel so they’re just going to glide.

The story line and music are a superb combination. It makes me feel like the narrator accepts death as a soft, subtle thing. No panic, just a slow drift until the end.

I like the Asian perspective on the post apocalypse. Instead of focusing on the horror and loss there's almost this sense of cathartic freedom. Like you finally got rid of a pain that was holding you back.

interestingly enough, there can be an argument made that the western ideas of post apocalypse focusing on the miserable loss of tech and being an all around bad time stems from the bloody fall of the Roman empire and the survivors having to deal with that mess

The way you have added these songs together, alongside the imagery and the initial story have elevated the whole of these 35 minutes into something that is much more than the sum of its parts. It makes me feel nostalgic, sad, at ease and hopeful all at different times. The last track always gives me teary eyes and it's all thanks to the build-up of everything that comes before it. Wow, You picked the perfect first song, immediately settled me into the vibe of the whole playlist. There is melancholy, but also peace. Freedom. A feeling of solemn understanding and acceptance. Paired perfectly with the chosen imagery. It takes a lot to get me to cry these days, but I definitely shed some tears in those first 8 minutes or so. Well done. I will definitely be checking some of these musicians out.

진짜 말로 설명하지 못할 감정들을 불러오는 것 같아요..

노래들 제목 보고서 정말 울 뻔 했어요... 마지막 곡이 remember me라니 조종사의 복잡한 심정이 전달됩니다ㅠㅠㅜ 영상의 첫 부분을 보면서 생텍쥐페리의 야간비행이라는 소설이 떠올랐어요. 책 속 주인공도 연료가 바닥난 상황을 받아들이는 장면이 있는데, 가장 인상 깊었던 부분이기도 하고 활공 플리의 어딘가 신비로운 분위기가 닮았어요.

I love how there's actually a story that goes on as the playlist progresses. Love the fuel gauge and the dialogue between the pilot and their computer.

선곡 너무 좋아서 찾아봤더니 진짜 아무도 모르는 하나도 안알려진 곡들..대단하신 거 같아 진짜로

짧지만 스토리도 있고 잘 만든 앰비언트! 계속 듣게 되네요. ㅎㅎ

진짜 들을 때 가슴이 웅장해집니다..이 멜로디가 마음을 차분하게 해주고 뭔가 말로 표현할수없는 감동과 희망이 들리는거같아요 더 표현하고 싶지만 제가 책을 많이 안 읽어서 표현을 못하겠네요 ㅠㅠ..너무 잘 듣고 있습니다 진짜 좋아요 진짜..!!!

Re-entry was smooth enough. Fox leader warned us of rough patches but as a squad, we've done the drills and calculated the impact. Thankfully, everything was within calculation. Breathing a sigh of relief, we logged the milestone. 1300 hours Alpha Centauri time. We dove near the blue substance - it crashed and washed below us. Washed? That's the word right? Closest we had at home were the pod-water simulations from training - we woudl sneak out to the centers just to see what they would do if we sunk our feet into it. There weren't safe places to land so we began the records. Moments later, Sharon - onboard flight assistant - told us it was water, which is some mixture of hydrogen energy with unbreathable oxygen. Crazy how these volatile substances created something that just crashed playfully with itself. Almost calming. The squadron cast shadows over the substance. Fox 3 and 4 let down the cockpit windows. Their eyes grew wide from excitement. I let down my cockpit window too. And...the....breeze? The breeze. That's the only sound i can call it. the BREEZE. It caught my hair and floated behind the ears. My cheeks went numb but I breathed and it felt like something we hadn't felt in a long time. Fox 5 nodded at me too. I'm glad we took the mission. Home is on Alpha 4, our dusty rock. But this vast blueness? Thos green rocks ahead? That's a home. I didn't even know it felt like that. I've never seen it. But we came home.

the picture of the dog and the "let's keep going as long as we can" text story bit really has me choked up. I appreciated this music with a whole sense of sadness that I was really not expecting. I hope the mysterious pilot is okay, I'd love a part two where they adventure on the ground (water?) in search of more fuel and supplies!?!

Imagine it the final music: As the fuel runs out the pilot saw his pictures of his wife and son remembering past good memories and hugging them and saying goodbye: he cried, he saw the beautiful sunset, a beautiful view indeed..... At last he closed his eyes... ( I'm not good at English ahahaha) I cried very much imagining it

활공 플리는. '네 걱정은 내가 대신 해줄께' 라는 감정이 느껴지는것 같아서 좋아요

Tony Anderson does some really great things. I will always associate this track with this playlist. Sometimes you really need to take that attitude and keep flying anyway, to the end. Just use what's left to the max. Sometimes I'll just cry alone out there listening to it while driving. But nobody knows about it. ^^

와 진짜 음악이 기대감을 품고 비행기 타서 펼쳐진 구름이 있는 창밖을 내다보는 그런느낌이에요...

플리가 아닌 드라마를 만드셨네요.. 그저 노래만 모은 게 아닌 이런 수려한 편집까지.. 저도 플리를 만들지만, 이런 게 원곡자를 향한 존경이구나 느끼고 가요! 플리 잘 들을게요!

마지막에 플레이 리스트를 표현하던 비행기가 머무르지 않고 날아가는 모습이 정말 인상깊었어요. 다리 없는 새 이야기가 생각납니다. 다리 없는 새는 어디에도 머무르지 못하고 밤낮을 날기만 하다가, 마지막이 되었을 때 어디에도 자신을 남기지 않고 가장 자유로운 모습으로 날았다는 이야기거든요. 저는 문득 모든 연료를 잃고 더 이상 날지 못하게 된 주인공이 땅에 사로잡힌 것이 아니라, 더 이상 기계에 속박되어 날아야 한다는 운명에서 벗어난 것 처럼 느껴졌어요. 가장 자유로운 죽음이며 동시에 자유로운 시작에 관한 것만 같아서 적어봅니다. 정말 매력적인 플레이 리스트 였어요!

처음에 노래만 들었을때는 엄청 좋아서 자주 들어야지 했는데, 처음에 나오는 그 기록 영상을 보고서는 왜 활공이라고 제목을 지었는지 알 것 같아요. 뭔가 마음이 뭉클해집니다

지금이 제게 닥친 재난 같다고 생각 했는데 고요함으로 가고 있는 시간이라 생각 해야겠어요 감사합니다

이런 감성이 또 있구나 항상 감탄해요. 세상엔 나와 내 말에 대답하는 인공지능 뿐이고 사방은 폐허가 되고 자연이 뒤덮어 흔적이라곤 찾을 수도 없는 세상이 떠올라요. 근데 절망적이고 슬프기만 한게 아니라 슬프지만 그만큼 희망적이고 아련해요. 인류 전체에서 나 혼자만이 볼 수 있는 인류 끝의 고요하고 아름다운 자연을 눈에 담으며 미련을 털어내는거 같아요. 곧 죽는데 참 웃기게 행복한 기분이 막 밀려오네요 원래 느낄 감정의 반대를 이렇게 잘 담아내시고 또 엄청 잘 어울려서 공부할때 낮달님 플레이리스트 틀고 해요 늘 고맙습니다

Not gonna lie, that was very cute) The story bit is a nice addon too, and the visuals steal you inside that narrative quite well. I love coming up with little nitty story bits by listening smth random as well, so I feel like the person saw the artwork first, and their imagination really played vivid colors off of that, and they immediately wrote the story down) All and all, amazing stuff 💜

Wow was not expecting the emotions that the little 1 min story at the beginning set up. It's always remarkable when storytelling is this well done. The fact that this gave me more feels than most 2 hour movies is just so cool, a reminder that quality is not dependent on quantity in the slightest.

모든 낮달님 아포칼립스 플리를 들어봤지만 활공은 딱 활공만의 분위기가 있어서 너무 좋은거 같아요. 그냥 너무 좋다..

진짜 여태 본 플리중 가장 개성있고 여운이 남는 채널이에요. 뭔가 이런 절망속의 아포칼립스속에서 얼마남지 않는 사람들이 각자 나름의 삶의 방향을 잡고 의미를 가지며 그런 상황을 버텨내가고 그러다 결국 막다른길에 도달하게될때 그들의 선택은 꽤나 매력적이고 실제로도 인상깊을때가 있다. 이야기에 마지막에 그냥 가자 다 닳을때까지 이 말에서 머리를 한대 맞은것마냥 여운이 울렸다. 내가 무언가 목적지를 잡고 향해갈때 혹시나 하는 생각을 가지며 그 목적지를 향해 주춤할때가 여러있다. 가다가 넘어지면 어쩌지, 혹시라도 틀린길이면 어쩌지, 남들 하는대로 갈걸 그랬나 등등 매번 목적지는 형식상 정해지고 사실상 정해진 목적지는 없던것이다. 마지막 말에 목적지없이 그냥 다 닳을때까지 이말에서 느껴진건 굳이 누군가에게 비출 멋들어진 목적지를 세우거나 아직 확실히 정하지 못했는데 시간의 재촉에 어거지로 세운 목적지거나 남들이 따라가는 별다를게 없는 목적지를 만들기보다는 차라리 목적지없이 내 마음가는대로 한번 끝까지 닳아봐도 좋을것 같다고 생각했고 최근 방황하고 내가 하는개 맞나 계속 고민하며 이도저도 못하고 어쩔줄 몰랐던 내가 한번 움직여볼만한 이유가 될것같다. 오전 3시가 조금 안되는 새벽 점점 더워지지만 선풍기를 약하게 틀고 바닥에 가만히 누워있으면 나름 시원한 방안에서 한번 생각해본다.

감성 미쳐버렸다....그냥 모든게 완벽해요 분위기며 영상미며..많이 배워갑니다!
