Best version I have seen so far! Thanks for sharing. I have been a licensed Aircraft Mechanic for over 30 years and in my view, this is as good as it gets. Nicely done.

I can not find the words to express how much I appreciate your videos. After putting your parts on my bike and doing the alignment, inspired a new level of confidence from the handling of my motorcycle. I watch other folks do this different ways, and most of the time, I almost die from laughing. The only thing I can add to this is… if you are replacing the rear shocks on your Late model FL, spend a little bit more money and get a pair of ride height adjustable shocks. This will help you get the rear wheel at a perfect 90 degrees.

Glide-Pro (Jake) is a great guy do do business with. Very helpful, very nice, and very easy to talk to. Great products with awesome support. I keep his products in stock in my shop in NY. I also have them on my FLTR because I ride it like a sport bike, a sport bike with a 21in front wheel!!! Thanks for letting us all in on the CORRECT way to get our bikes lined up.

I bet my local dealer couldn't do an alignment as well. My first harley is my 2014 ultra I bought used and I've been beating my head against a wall trying to get it right. I never knew any of this info. Rice burners are so much simpler to align. I have even considered getting rid of my bike over this but it all makes sense now and I know I can use this information to straighten it out now. Thank you for this video!

First of all, thank you very much for your informative video. I have a 1993 FLHS. After new tires and bead balancing. Bearings and seals. Repair leaking front fork and air shocks the bike wobbles in a straight line starting around 65 mph. Checked rear wheel alignment from swing arm to axle PERFECT!!! What the F____!!! Checked run out on front wheel and rotors, all good. Checked end play on front bearing, okay. Digitally leveled bike on jack. Front rotor set at 89.99 Degrees. Rear rotor set at 89.87 degrees. Digital laser on front and rear rotors and alignment of engine and transmission way off. Installed new front motor mount and adjusted dogbone to get lasers parallel. Could not get them perfect but a big improvement. No more wobble at 65 mph. Took hands off handlebars with no shaking. I have not replaced the bushings in the swing arm yet. If I replace the bushings and my lasers are still out, would it make sense to adjust the rear wheel axle according the the lasers instead? Trying to be a perfectionist I know. Thanks for all your help, and a great video!

Hey. Just want to say thanks for your very helpful tech vids!!!! It’s damn near impossible to find this info anywhere especially about the isolator mount. The service manual barely mentions them. One for a late model evo Eide glide for alignment and isolators would be awesome. Just assembled one from basket case. Ride straight no hands but has one heck of vibration. Especially when I let off gas. Has me scratching my head. I’m buying front mount today for my 87 Electra. Wish I could afford to do swingarm isolators as well

Great video! Youre a very good communicator. One thing to keep in mind is that if someone before you worked on, or replaced the adjusters, they might be backwards, and not necessarily down to loosen. Look at the threads, it should be obvious.

Best explanation of how this IS DONE! I took the stock mount that HD dealership installed a few years back and put it in rightside up! Bike rode okay b4, now it wonders and likes to go to the right and not smooth. What brand lasers are you using? I know the two levels are Husky( available at Home Depot). Thanks! Ray

love the video and im following along perfectly until you go to make the laser lines parallel. I think I understand in theory. I own an 98 dyna (Rubber mounted) and the only way to make those two lines parallel would be to use the two adjusters located at the ends of the swing arm. also was taken for a loop when you noted to loosen the front motor mount bolts.i didn't get to visually see how you made the lines even or where you loosened the motor mount bolts any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Do you even know what camber is? I guess if you had a rear wheel out of Sq you could call that camber. Most of the time it is related to as positive and negative with car suspensions. In At the top, towards the car, would be negative , a lot of Neg for track cars. Being we want straight up and down on a bike-no camber at all.

Or you can order the bushing tool that hold the engine in alignment. And do it in half the time this guy does it. I bought the tool and never have I had to realign since using it the first time, only when new bushings are installed or doing a 10 inspect. Never had to adjust any bike I've looked at. Only after bushing replacement.

The first think about this lasers method is you do not know if both of the wheels are in the same center line right? They are 100% parallel yes but that is all what you know. Look take 2 shoe boxes put the lasers against them and then move one of the box in or out and now you can see they are parallel but on two different centres lol. Ha ha another thing is that level on the top of the bike who told you or where did you read that is measure point? Because if you take your level an put it under bike on the frame pipes rayls what ever you will be surprised how much difference that could be..
