Aston Martin influencing the rules so late in the game and then backing out really ticks me off. That Glick should have been much better than it turned out to be.

I don't disagree. It was definitely a bit of an unsporting pivot. And, although I'm possibly in the minority here, to leave to go do Formula 1 is a massive downgrade, at least for the entertainment factor and actual competition.

Have great time. I managed 3hrs sleep during the race in 2015.... the action and atmosphere is too good to miss

To be fair though, they're currently more competitive in F1 than they could have been in WEC. It's just a shame because the Valkyrie platform probably had a lot to offer. I'm much sadder about Audi not joining LMDh

I followed your crazy race for most of the 24 hrs. The G'haus team are ironmen!! I can't believe they both finished.

Thanks for the video really well done!. I hope Glick can be competitive one day, they put a lot of effort to design this car and racing against big manufactures like Toyota, Ferrari, Porsche and Cadillac is complicated.

Thanks! I agree - I would love to see them at least get another podium, certainly an outright win, but the realist in me does fear that without a seriously stellar performance at Le Mans next weekend, this may be the last season we see the Glick racing. Mr. Glickenhaus has been making a lot of noise the last two years about the expenses of the program and not being able to compete in IMSA and I think he may be at his tipping point. Could be, and would love to be, entirely wrong but I'm afraid the great privateer may be about to turn King's Evidence, such as it is. Alternately, the Vanwall was looking seriously quick today during the test sessions, so there may be another hope for the privateers yet.

@@lenslr some people say that one reason why Glick doesn't use hybrid is he just wants to reminisce about the old glory days of racing, but endurance race is heavily progressive. Glick would have a better chance of winning in GT3 than in hypercar category because the Glickenhaus 003 and 004 are promising. Another reason why his hypercar is poorly developed according to modern standards is because hybrid is expensive and complicated which can cause reliability issues. Even Toyota TS050 had reliability issues, one which denied Toyota of their first Le Mans win which was only one lap away. The Peugeot 9x8 hypercars also suffered lots of reliability issues and technical difficulties. Another reason why Jim was denied entry to IMSA is simply because he's unable to meet the IMSA requirement of producing at least 2,500 cars per year. Glickenhaus is a relatively young boutique brand, only very few people know about it even among car enthusiast communities, and his cheapest cars are still quite expensive which are huge obstacles between him and IMSA. Many rich people buy Porsche, Ferrari, Lambo, Pagani, McLaren, Bugatti and Koenigsegg because of flex factor. If you flex a Porsche 911 or even a Jaguar, most people will be amazed, more so if you flex Ferrari, Lambo, and other famous supercar and hypercar brands. However, if you flex a Glickenhaus, most people will not even know what you're flexing.

Unfortunately, Glick's most iconic moment so far was punting a toyota on lap 1 corner 1 of it's first le mans entry, having seemingly never tested braking in wet conditions on cold tires and both cars locking their front wheels
