Very honest review by everyone. The indoor pool looked fabulous, but for the price they charged, they need more than the pool to justify the price. Thank you for the review.

Back in the 80s it had a slide (still visible- it has been covered with brown rocks) and an indoor miniature golf course. It was THE place to stay!

Thanks for the great and honest review. We just got home. We stayed at the tally ho inn over in Townsend so we could be near the balloon festival. That was on the recommendation of Jeff at vacation station to you. The last few days went by really quick. Hopefully we can be back down in October

@@SmokyMountainFamily we did really enjoy it. It's a little bit older but I think even Bob would approve. I didn't see dust and there was no noise and all of my aches and pains that I normally have I didn't experience laying on that bed so that says something about it. Very nice people and locally owned. Would definitely stay there again and we both enjoyed the quieter side of the Smokies

I enjoyed your thorough review. It was really interesting to see inside this one. We have been staying at the Hampton next door since it opened in ‘17 (loved the back patio and creek there) Bears constantly roam down behind there .We had reservations and pulled up at the end of July to a construction zone out back where an Embassy Suites is being built. It was so loud that we left. With your front facing room, I gather you weren’t disturbed.

Thanks for the review. We were first time visitors to the area last June and stayed here. The indoor pool and lobby area were very nice. We had a room that overlooked the indoor pool. We thought the rooms and some halls were a bit dated, but there definitely should be more included for the price. We’d love to see a review of the Valley Forge Inn in Pigeon Forge. We are looking there to book our next trip maybe in late spring or September. Thanks!

Good video. I’m very surprised they advertise the breakfast and workout room and offer neither. Plus, Mgmt should be walking the hotel several times a day and spot the issues you found and housekeeping Mgmt should be checking rooms after cleanings to pickup on the sheets issues. Before becoming a firefighter paramedic I was in the hospitality industry and the things that seem to be overlooked here are actually a big thing. The pool lighting issue is actually a big one.

We weren't in the industry, but watched every episode of Hotel Impossible, does that count? Lol. According to what we learned there, not many hotels are actually doing it correctly. But seriously, after binge watching that show it changed how we looked at customer service. We started seeing every business that deals with the public in any way as a faction of the hospitality industry. It changed how we conduct our businesses. Anthony would always advise the managers and employees to do anything, anything within reason to make sure the guest was satisfied with their stay. Never let them leave with a bad taste in their mouth. Thats how it should be done! Boy, we can think of a place in particular in this area that could use a few hours of Anthony lol! Thanks so much for the comment, and thanks as always guys!

@@SmokyMountainFamily I’ve seen all the episodes too, Anthony is very detail oriented. My minor in college was hospitality and I went to UCF where we trained with a lot of big names in the industry since we were in Orlando. I was trained to be detail oriented and it paid off, but I got burned out and went a different route after a few years. The true problem of most places that serve the public is that they see the problems that need solutions and they choose to ignore it. People have a tendency to become lazy and complacent when they notice that no one else minds the problems. It’s that old adage “no one else cares, so why should I.” The hospitality industry is a hard one to survive in these days with all the stress that comes with it.

Yall crack me up , I swear Brittany an girls would love my mom an brother , we go to hotel first thing they do point out all flaws ! I'm like who goes in the closet an checks it . Oh wait you guys ! 😆. My concern is the sheets , bed bugs, air , shower, an view ! Then I'm wanting to know about the pool ! FYI I care nothing about the gym ! 😆. What I need to know why Betty White an her boyfriend was creepin on yall in the pool ? That was hysterical 🤣 I agree just because your short staff does not mean you can not do breakfast ! Waffle machine , doughnuts , coffee, juice . I would like for you to contact the hotels that you gave bad reviews an see what they do to correct the issues. I've got 20 years customer service , so I'm hard sell . (Not bashing you guys , js wanna give opportunity for their public side) Keep those videos coming . If I'm not responding I'm watching every video right now.. stay safe covid has 2,000 cases at main hospital here in the middle of west Tennessee right now , its headed for bad way here .
