Wow, great video. You've pointed out the exact same errors as I saw in that match. He was just absolutely catastrophical against Crystal Palace (and been piss poor defensively since), and is now a player I prefer to see off the pitch rather than in the back three or four. Great analysis with great examples of how it's done, well done mate!

The first goal ain't Johnson's fault.Their should have been a CDM there to block the shot,because basically this is the middle of the field.This is where the CDM/CM should be. 2:07-You know that if he sprints towards Bolasie to close him down,Bolasie is just going to cut inside,and the momentum won't let Johnson to change direction quickly enough.I know that this is the right way to approach this situation,but bare in mind,it ain't easy. 2:48-It is a team mistake.First,there should be a Central Midfielder closer to the area that the cross was delivered to.In that case,Skrtel was not going to rush out of position,and the goal could have been prevented.Still, Johnson didn't react fast enough to the situation. I agree with everything else in the video. Brilliant video anyway. I like the comparison between the wrong way to defend(Jonhson most of the times)and the right way,performed by the best full back in the BPL(or at least one of the best FB's)
