Glen Hansard and Eddie's Vedders harmonisations reminds me of how well Layne Staley and Jerry Cantrell were the perfect compliment to each others voices and harmonies ❤️

“I swear I’d drive all night again just to buy you some shoes”....I go around singing this line all the time. Love it and I love these two precious souls...

A Boss song is always a go to...especially, when I lose faith in this damn world, and humanity...renews me, and lets me know, I'm not alone or unique, better people have gone thru this crap, and survived and even thrived....

Great touch to add a bit of the wonderful John Hiatt at the very end. I can remember back to 1978 when "Drive All Night" was still just an emotional improvised monologue near the end of live performances of Bruce's song "Backstreets" (a song whose piano intro still gives me chills after nearly half a century).

Later in 2013 Glenn was invited on stage by Mr. Springsteen to play "Drive All Night" with him in front of about 50,000 in Kilkenny, Ireland.

This is a daily listen...They are so adorable and comfortable together...Love the stomping of their feet!

My sister and I went to quite a few shows, Melbourne included. Glad you're still smiling, they were both brilliant. I seem to well up and get covered in goosebumps every time I hear Guaranteed, whether live or otherwise. The most amazing time was one of Ed's Sydney shows that year. He told a story that I'll keep private but it had a bit of added meaning for me which was kinda special and at the very first strum of the guitar every hair on my body stood on end, a stinging tear or two formed and I just felt this very special moment unfolding. The deep sorrow of the past and possibly of the future was all ok and in that moment on I just enjoyed the love, the music and that old rare but familiar feeling of awe and ecstasy. Not bad for a night out! :)

This is one of the most awesome things I've ever seen/heard. I wonder what the Boss himself thinks of that...

It is a bit of a sad story that Glenn shared at his concert with us in Seattle but I love that something positive came out of it. Someone committed suicide at one of Glenn's concerts. This had happened to Pearl Jam at a concert as well at some point in their career. When Eddie heard about what happened at Glenn's concert he called him up to talk it out and let him know he was there for him. They had never met. This started a deeper friendship between the two to say the least. Life and death situations have a tendency to do that.

awww, I love GH and The Boss, I dont think anyone can outshine him on this one but Id love to hear just Vedder do this one solo....I bet he'd kick ass on it....just my opinion but id love to hear him do it....Love all 3 of them, but I dunno, I think Eddie could really pull something from this song, which is my favorite from The River btw...

I have everything Bruce has done and LOVE him, but this is perfection. I was lucky enough to see Glenn, Eddie and Jake Clemons perform this together at an Eddie solo gig in Brisbane, Australia - its the single best thing I've ever seen live
