they are great! my original trio died off (they either jumped out or a big fungus outbrake destroyed them) but I have 3 new and they are way more active. like, the new trio never ever hide, they are always right in the middle of the aquarium, all chill and relax. they have grown a lot since I got them! truly amazing! relativly cheap too, for something that special. I might get more, eventually. they are very social after all!

I got 6 of these a week ago and love them. Great job on the video.

I got given 7 and they just kinda hang around I'm a little worried my water perameters are fine and the temperature is fine too, I know they're shy but I just want them to be happy

are they white looking or transparent? if they are getting white, they are stress. if they are transparent, they are good. try to put a lot of floating plants, like duckweed and water lettuce, it will create the shade this fish really love. They aren't a super active fish though, so if they stay at the same spot for a long time, it is normal.

What kind of substrate do you recommend for them?

You can use any substrate really, they never touch the ground in my experience. They like a lot of plants though, so aqua complete could be a good solution for good plant growth? but yeah, they won't really care about substrate, but probably sand would be better...

They ate my cherry shrimp

Vincent Sacdalan they’re super docile fish, I sincerely doubt they would ever eat cherry shrimp, unless the shrimp are very young and small. My glass catfish never pick on anything else in my tank, and I have dwarf shrimp as well. Are there any other tank inhabitants that may have been bullying your shrimp?

That is very surprising! Like the other two viewers already commented, I also doubt the glass catfish is to blame... I mean, I never had a problem either and it's also about the fact that the catfish don't really have a mouth to deal the the shell of the big of an invertebrate, even though sherry shrimps are small...

I’ve replenished my tank with cherry shrimp and I saw 2 glass cats eating one of them. None survived 😥
