I think that Glasgow have been underestimated because of a couple of poor seasons and SA fans maybe thought their only threat was from Irish teams. Lienster yes, but Glasgow have won this comp more recently than both Ulster and Munster and been in the top 4 consistently for a decade. Unfortunately they’ve had a poor 2 seasons but they are on the way back up. Franco doing a great job. Credit to Stormers too as it was a great game and hope they do well next week.

This has to be the best game of the urc so far. It was brilliant to watch as a neutral.

If games like this don't get full houses back at Scotstoun, nothing will. Despite being the coldest I've been in a long time, it was brilliant. Amazing drama at the end.

Honestly Stormers fans must learn that not every loss means we poor. Sometimes the opposition are just good it makes watching sport much better. Stormers' played well considering the travel fiasco and injury list but they had the game there for the taking. Glasgow really played great rugby and threw everything to win that. They better hope they get a home playoff otherwise it could get miserable again.

@@LB_die_Kaapie Basically every SA team when they want to travel to Europe must first do a 8hr flight to Qatar. Then from there they do another 7hr flight to UK. Add all the stoppages and bus trips that can add up to 40hr of travel which is basically two days. They do this because they are sponsored by Qatar airlines and apparently they can't afford business class direct for some reason. Stormers injury list is: Jean Luc du Plessis, Herschel Jantjies, Alapati Leuia, Frans Malherbe, Godlen Masimla, Salmaan Moerat, Ruhan Nel, Scarra Ntubeni, Gary Porter, Evan Roos, Seabelo Senatla, Adre Smith, Ernst van Rhyn, Nama Xaba.

Also ref was kak allowing Glasgow players to just fall over everywhere at ruck and side entries, offsides, not enforcing the gap at lineouts allow players to be played in the air general play and at lineouts, head on head etc etc. Glasgow look good but also ref was generally kak

@@bravestarr1797 Right on cue. A SA franchise loses and the fans are on complaining about the referee. It’s as boring as it is predictable but I didn’t realise it would go on all season long. I see now it will in fact never end.

1st BRILLIANT GAME credit to both teams. Jones was on fire, Mialoti (Spelling), Stein and co all brilliant. Horn's work from the base of the scrum was supper fast, giving Glasgow an edge. Sadly Price couldn't deliver the same speed as Horn. Commentators were superb, especially Bobby Skinsat, his comments were so informative. Cameras/producer, please focus on the game. Too long on unnecessary player close ups to for too long. Thank you every a very enjoyable couple of hours!!!

Congratulations to Glasgow, They attack really well, good shape, their Setpice is Desent, They work for each other, They were desperate to win here you Could see, they are building something special, big improvement from last season. Stormers were just poor also, didn't execute well, lacking physicality, missed crucial kicks, buckled under pressure

Stormers looked fatigued.

The Stormers have peaked too early and have 15 of their squad on the injury list including Evan Roos, Frans Malherbe, Xaba, etc. Their lack of depth in the forwards has now been exposed. They will struggle in their remaining URC games which include two games against the improving Sharks A Team away and at home, away against the Bulls, Ulster and Leinster and at home against Munster. They will at best finish 3rd or 4th on the log and maybe even 5th or 6th but definitely not 2nd. They have a major lock and loose forward injury and lack of depth problem! They might even struggle in their next two European Cup games starting next weekend against the London Irish. The SA URC Teams speaking as a Bulls supporter from Pretoria lack the requisite depth to go all the way in the Eurooean Cup and maybe even in the URC. The Sharks amongst the SA Teams seem to have the the easier route in the remaining URC games and barring injuries might have sufficient Boks to compete in the European Cup as well. The Stormers specifically and the Bulls are going to struggle for the remainder of the season. Why don't major corporations, billionaires or financial institutions purchase the Bulls, Stormers and Sharks and recruit depth in the form of players such as Malcolm Marx, Lood Dr Jaar, Ruan Ackerman, James Vermeulen, Handro Liebenberg, the Du Preez Twins etc as well as foreign players. The playing fields are unequal in terms of available finance and the purchase of players to create the requisite depth is lacking. This major problem will be exposed over the next 4 months and in 2024 if not addressed as stated by Jack White ASAP. PS SA players seem more prone to serious injuries compared to their European and NZ counterparts. Why is that so? Is it our excessive focus on power rugby at the detriment of handling skills and the lack of ball retention skills and multiphases in attack etc?

Just back from the game. Good result for Glasgow, especially when they were only operating at 80%. Stormers well off the pace, constant time wasting, Kitshoff not fit - completely outscrummed by our 3rd choice tighthead and was pleading to be replaced after 50 minutes, and lacking in attacking flair - used the same kick chase to their right winger on 5 occasions and came up short on every occasion. If Glasgow had been on their game it would have been a cricket score. No excuses with the weather either, perfect conditions except the last 15 minutes when there was a wee bit rain , unless of course it doesn’t rain in Cape Town.

Well played Glasgow. Stormers looked a bit at sea. Daily card rant: inconsistency with cards is harming the game. One week a player is red carded because a blade of grass hits the attacking player's head. Next week nothing when a battering ram hits a player's head.

Willemse seemed a little lonely today.....he should've had more support (and should've played at 15 maybe ?). Kitshoff felt less energetic than his usual self also, but Fourie was there at least (when he wasn't making trouble...). Guess all the hype about Dayimani was just hype....he got outplayed all match and couldn't catch a ball with his life. Last but not least, someone get rid of Blommetjies, he's a liability. And teach Libbok how to kick again...

Not showing the stormers second try and jumping from 16 mins to 50 mins is a disgraceful excuse of a highlights package. For years the URC /Pro14/Pro12 or any of its faces has consistently had terrible media coverage. The league need to drop premier sport and entice sky or bt sport to commit because its slowly killing the game.
