Russell's crossfield kick to put VDM in for his 3rd try is so well executed, but his 2nd try is all his own work - the winger backs himself to beat the ENG defense but ends up absolutely destroying them. When you're 6'4 and built like a brick shit-house that is 5 meters beyond any defender before he's even realized you've slipped the tackle, you're gonna be a problem all day for any opposition. He's a class act. Congrats to SCO from an IRE supporter. 4 Calcutta Cups on the bounce is a great achievement, regardless of how well or badly ENG plays.

He's overrated is what he is. These tries came from his midfield, an England mistake and his fly half. If he couldn't finish then he shouldn't be playing wing in international rugby.

@@beno8983 yes, that was a good try. But average players can still score good tries. Average players can still do good things. There's plenty of English players who I think are overrated who have done great things. So yes, he's overrated

Even in today’s game a yellow was harsh.

Love seeing us take advantage of England's current slump. It won't last, they'll be back before too long once they get proper management sorted out. But very very happy to take full advantage in the past 5 years. 4 wins and a draw ... if only we could get that sort of result against the mighty Irish!

What a game. England are a good side, inconsistent but can threaten the best teams in the world on their day. Scotland are a consistent side and consistently keep the best teams in the world on their toes. If Scotland continues to play this style of rugby and continue to build and develop players they will be a threat come RWC in Australia. From a All Blacks supporter

Ireland are the best in the north. But love watching six nations. All teams have an expansive game. Gone are the days where it was always 10 man rugby. Great to see rugby evolve. Last round will be epic.

great win Scotland, your experience really showed today, i just don't understand England's selections sometimes, most top tier teams play the same players week in week out, hence they know each other well & win or lose they just play better, England however are forever swapping & changing players these past few years, i get players need experience but that's what substitutions are for so you can see how they play whilst giving the player experience, you can't do it internationally as there are not enough matches to get it right compared to the league were you do have matches to experiment with, even then there comes a point were you play your core team consistently, ooh i dunno i just feel that england have a long way to go before they get it right.

I hope Scotland beat Italy. Having said that i have been impressed by Italy this year. They have played some open expansive and entertaining rugby. Scotland will have to concentrate in Rome. They have beaten us there before. Nic Berry should be apologising to the rugby community in Europe. That ball was grounded and he overruled the video referees. Why, because he called the on pitch decision wrong!!! If Scotland beat Italy then we could have had a championship decider in Dublin. Still think Ireland are too strong for us especially in Dublin!

And Graham still out, Adam Hastings never being fit, British Lions Caps like Harris, Price, Watson, Sutherland not even considered, Paterson and Rowe last 2 weeks fitting in like they have dozens of caps. If only we had such front row depth. I worry we are underachieving due to years of failure having a psychological hurdle we can't cross.

He scores one try off the back of good would by his midfield. He scored one try off the back of sloppy handling by the opposition. He scores one try off the back of good vision and a great kick from his fly half. And all of a sudden he's the greatest wing in the world? Don't be ridiculous. He wasn't even the best wing on the pitch or the best Scottish back. He's an international wing, if he can't finish opertunities like these he either shouldn't be playing international rugby or he shouldn't be playing on the wing. This is as ridiculous as hype around Henry Arundell in the world cup.

@@provyd possibly Daily. He competed well in the air when chasing high balls, put in some clever kicks, was influencial in attack. And when he made that chip through and tried to play it back onto the Scottish player to win the lineout was a super peace of play, and an example of great rugby intelligence. I also think Tommy Freeman had a good game. And in both cases they had a better all round bank game. But, I'll admit I'm biased. I didn't really pay much attention to the other Scottish wing, and am prepared to be persuaded that he played better than the English wings.
