Gktech Z33 350z Z34 370z Short Shifter - Install
The GKTECH Z33 350z/Z34 370z short shifter is a direct replacement of the standard item and reduces the shifter throw by 33% which helps dramatically increase shift time and also makes everything feel much tighter. The shifter itself is also 30mm shorter and has an added weight at the top for more feel.
- Shorter throw
- Added weight for more feel
- OEM shift knob thread pitch (M10x1.25)
- Delrin lower bushing for a low friction solid feel
Vehicle Compatibility:
- Nissan Z33 350z
- Nissan Z34 370z
- Infiniti G35
- Infiniti G37

Running this shifter on my 350 and very happy with the purchase. My group of friends drove it and love the feel of it with one going to purchase one for his g35.

Awesome, thank you for the great feedback!
This is the best video I have seen, awesome. Question: Have you guys figured out what causes the infamous rattle that comes from the shifter area on 370z?

same problem here with the 350z
i literally was looking for a video minutes before you guys posted this bc i ordered it!
Reduces the throw by 33 percent and for a z33 nice! 😏
No video for the strike fast shifter? the paper instructions are a bit unclear.
Put this on my Skyline V35 this weekend, unfortunately sounds like a tractor with all the rattling coming from the shifter area. It seems that SMF conversions might add too much vibration for this short shifter to work without rattling on acceleration. IThe rattle still happens without the shifter and weight installed, so it's not one of those. Torqued up all the bolts and greased any metal on metal areas (i.e. the adaptor plate), can't get rid of it. Bbeware if you're running an SMF conversion! I will probably need to sell this on at a loss

Same here I put rubber gaskets between each surface of metal and it was better but still very aggressive with rattle

Yeah so it's not just my particular car either. Amazing feeling shifter, but just too much noise to deal with on a daily. To be honest though, the thing that limits the speed of your shifts in these cars is the clutch delay valve. Maybe GKTech can come up with a delete kit for that horrible thing. @@mathewzimmel

Using a vice and a rubber mallet, you should find a similar result. Just be cautious as the shock can cause damage.
does not have a Nissan, watches anyway
