Probably the most challenging vocals of the edition. People don´t realise how difficult is to sing at that tone the whole song, and he really NAILED IT, beautiful performance.

I knew it was a good song, but the live performance blew me away. I sat hypnotized and woke up at the end. I used to listen to it in background when I was cooking, but now I listen intently, like some kind of ritual 😳😅

They are always the best singers Live....Thank God he competed for Switzerland and he got appreciated for his vocals, otherwise if he could have competed for Albania, he could still be around 17th place.....the same with Eleni Foureira( Entela Fureraj). If she could have competed for Albania, no way she would be the runner up.....

If you guys wondering why he did all those "weird moves" its because its a representation of ups and downs in life, sometimes its all okay (slow moves) and then suddenly everything is falling apart (chaotic moves), like a contrast between happiness and sadness so thats why he was moving slow and then very fast

I guess the best copy is whats winning this year. And in my opinion, out of every copy we have, Gjon's is still the best copy 2021 eurovision showed us :)

I can image why a country with a language variety like this would prefer french over swiss-german or german in general to compete in an international competition. The germanic language's a beautiful one, though sometimes it is described as sounding "harsh" or "rough". It's not as "round" and smooth as french or has the same charme as italian. There are always exemptions though. I still have to say, I'd rather see and hear all of them performing in their national language instead of resorting only to english lyrics. I wouldn't mind mixing as well. I know that nowadays one could consider english to be an national language for every country because it's needed and spoken literally everywhere. That's why it's international, I know. I'm just afraid that the diversity disappears. I also read somewhere in the comments that they're bored of those generic english pop songs and I agree. I'm also fascinated by languages I don't know or fully understand. For me it's like finding gems of songs and music which I never could've found and known about if they wouldn't be presented this way.

It is an awesome song and my vote is gonna go to Switzerland. But realistically this isn’t going to win, the song is too similar (not lyrically) to last year’s song. Italy makes the biggest chance to win ESC, especially because Italy hasn’t won for a long time and they alsways had a great song. And now Italy is represented by a rockband, which is in the favorites of a lot of people.

I was very impressed by the studio version and I was 100% sure it would be very underwhelming on stage (because not many sings that well live). Now I have to say I was absolutely blown away by him live. It was such a surprise that it made me tear up completely. So beautiful.

@@carstenjanss9145 as a Dutchie I can't say we strongly prefer songs in French, or at least it's not obvious to me, but perhaps that's true. Honestly this year is not ideal for finding out as the only other song in French is also really good, so both will have great crowd support anyway!

Even on tv, I sense that he got longer cheers from the crowds.

The best thing (besides him hitting all the notes) is that his moves aren't just some weird choreography forcefully added to make this performance more dramatic - he moves in a similar way during his other performances, too. And it would look quirky done by other artists, but in his case it just feels natural. He's absolutely charming.

I disagree, I felt he was trying too much to do choreography. The one that I didn't like was the one after singing the highest note, it felt strange to me. It's just the choreography is not my cup of tea, I'm sorry. But I really love the song and I would be really happy if it wins!

I might be a little heartbroken this song didn't win ... it's so beautiful. And the act was really artistic!

This performance was in another league against the others. A fantastic Eurovision song is a song you never forget and I will never forget this nor will everyone here.....🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

i didn't like the music video but when I heard him sing live I just knew why this was so hyped. video takes a lot away from the song I feel. this perf though makes sense

he already was known, he was in the french version of The Voice and reached semi-finals, but yeah, he has that star quality and one powerful voice, cannot wait for his debut album
