You’re my favorite streamer but after LoR died I just couldn’t follow you into Snap. Not again. I decided to try MTG and the whole time I was thinking “damn Mog would love this”. So glad to be on the same game as you again.

Thanks again for the videos and detailed decktechs. I've played MTG before but I think the sheer quantity of choice gives me choice paralysis + thr huge card pool makes it hard for me to remember synergies. So having you spell things out in a detaildd way helps grt my creative juices pumping. Deck building is definitely easier in things like Hearthstone and LoR that limit your deckbuilding to an extent + not needing to think about your mana curve as hard because your mana in those games are guaranteed. Like Hearthstone only lets you use 2 copies of any given card + only 1 of any legendary AND you can only use one class + neutral cards. And in LoR they limit you to two regions and also a smaller amount per card. Thr sheer freedom in MTG can be overwhelming. Plus the deck building "lessons" I learned playing those games that have consistent reliable mana gain or games like Yugioh which is resourceless dont apply in MTG. So sometimes I end up thinking card X is super good only to learn its garbage or mediocre or niche. Im just rambling nowm thanks again. Keep it up Mog

Love the videos. One suggestion that’s helpful for me (no MTG experience) it’s helpful if you highlight the card when talking about it in your deck tech section so newer players can pause the video and read the text. Thanks for the content and keep up the great work!

Just started mtg, struggling with a 35% wr budget deck in silver rn, but I’ve heard the start is the worst part since you don’t have much to work with, so I’ll just have to push through 😂 Love how informative the vids last week have been mog keep it up 👍

You're goated and I want you to stay consistent and pogging, I think you would benefit a lot from having a small backlog of a few videos. Record like 3-5 videos and keep them in your back pocket for times like yesterday's upload. But you did just start on MTG again so you might be planning this already

BTW I justed played against a Crime deck which was heavily centered around Investigation Campaign, and played ZERO creature. I guess it was fully expecting aggro/midrange matchup, since their spot removal would be just dead against control, and killing creature is a big source of crime in that deck - but that did seem to work very well.

Can you try a deck based on cats and dogs ? I remember this was the only deck i played when i used to play this game, it was kinda fun (although it is obviously not meta at all haha)

Graveyard Trespasser and Path of Peril (in the sideboard) are the only cards that will rotate in this deck!

Lord Skitter, Sewer King performs a similar role and sometimes better than trespasser.

In best of 3 games, you get 15 cards outside your main deck to swap 1 for 1 in between games. You can take stuff out that doesn't work as well in some matchups for cards better suited for the matchup

In MTG formats that are Best of 3, you're allowed to have a sideboard of 15 cards that you are allowed to change out with cards in your main deck in between each round of the best of 3

Bruh Mogwai gets me hype for cards, but I just can't with MTG's predatory store mechanics, the grind to get anything going seems extra-ordinary painful. Snaps gate-keeping was just as bad but here it's hugely p2w I feel. Lowkey holding out for Shadowverse 2
