Being a LoR player and viewer since that era of your channel, as well as getting into MtG through commander, I am LOVING these deck techs and it was something that I missed so much during the Snap times.

I mean I like mogwai and all, but this certainly is not innovation lol. Fought this exact deck dozens of times by now.

Mog got so impressed by Jasper during a livestream that he just had to build around the guy, that's RESPECT right there (ps. the volume sounds just fine to me)

@@MegaMogwai yeah its not super intuitive. long goodbye was introduced in the same set as the disguise cards as "that sets removal". since draft especially was gonna have so many creatures with ward 2

It’s cool seeing you back on magic! I haven’t played in a while but your unique builds and takes on standard make me want to jump back in. I was kinda burned out with how stale standard was but your videos reminded me how much I just haven’t explored.

There was a missplay towards the end of that first game. The way Ward works is that if you don't pay the cost it counters the spell. The Long Goodbye can't be countered so it can get past ward. IT actually says it on the card as you play it that it ignores ward.

It's rough... Been with you since LoR, to Marvel, Back to Lor, Back to Marvel, to TFT, back to LoR... and now to MTG. But it's genuinely true from your "coming home" video, that MTG offers a deeper context for deck building. It's way more complex what you can build. It's going to take some time, but this looks fun for the long haul.

Man those first two games were absolutely intense as hell. Good to see you having fun with MTG Arena. I started playing again and realized how much I've actually missed playing.

OH man! Can't tell you how excited I am. Long time viewer since the beginning of LoR (although I kinda stopped after the transition to Marvel Snap, wasn't quite the game for me). It's good to see you get into MTG Arena cause I recently got back into paper mtg a few months ago! And I always loved the decks you brewed in LoR. Keep up the good work Mogwai! Excited for the journey to come!

Did you stop doing individual time stamps for each game? I thought they were very nice to have as a viewer, so a little sad to see them go

Just a little arena tip: If you're selecting multiple attackers, you can click on all the attackers you want to then click their face to send them all at once rather than one at a time. I would love for you to do a deck with luxurious locomotive. I think the card has a ton of potential for insane value, especially with decks that get tons of weak units like planeswalker Urza and other artifact soldier cards

Hey Mog. I just started playing Magic a couple days ago because of you. To be completely honest, I'm kind of lost. I'd appreciate it if you showcased some budget decks or present budget versions of more expensive decks. Perhaps you could make some suggestions of what could be replaced with what at the start/end of each video. Don't have to spend too much time on this. No need to ruin the pacing of the video. Just a few quick suggestions. Anyways, thanks for the journey all these years!

I dont know if it helps but: when you go for an attack, with multiple creatures, you dont need to grab each one, individually, and mark the opponent. You cant go from one, to another, and the last one you aim at your opponent. You will earn some seconds there. =)

As a beginner, I dont really know what to play, everything requires money, nothing is free. I completed the colour challenge, but in the starter deck duel as well, I keep losing with the one deck (white and green) that I somehow managed to build. This game is simply not beginner friendly, like LOR.

In the first game you shouldn't payed ward cost, because your spell couldn't be countered!!

Been playing this deck. It's too slow for what it's trying to do. It loses to faster mono red aggro and gets out muscled by midrange. It doesn't generate enough value against control who can remove your win conditions.
