I thought the same thing. Apparently people don’t care that Jenna has apologised for any problematic things she’s ever done but unfortunately she has now quit. Great there go the last 5 years of my life! Great!

I think it's interesting how, whenever Jenna's going through a tough time or is feeling tired and makes a video, she does this thankful apology at the end... "Thank you guys so much for just letting me make a regular video sometimes etc. etc..." And it's like... girl. There has never once been a time when she's said that and I've thought: "yeah, this video WAS pretty sub-par, but I'll give her a pass, considering the circumstances," because I am always EQUALLY entertained. Jenna took such great care of Ad. That cage looks like a 50-gallon fish tank, most people give their hamsters tiny cages but she gave him everything he needed. She loved her hamster so much and it's amazing to see a big youtube show people what a cage should be like.

Yeah. My roomie got flamed for putting our two year old hamster in a clear 20 gallon plastic bin with giant holes put in the lid. Ruby died of old age in her sleep and when roomie vented online people attacked her for not having Ruby in a cage from the pet store... despite every single site we checked outlining it's okay with certain things done.

So, I was rewatching this today, and I just want to say, you should DEFINITELY get a bearded dragon. You could use the tank you had for ad, and the water dish, the ramp, etc. You would also love bearded dragons. They are like puppies inside of reptile skin. They are the most loving and cuddly reptiles you will ever meet, and they're expected to live 7-10 years. I HIGHLY recommend a baerded dragon to you and Julien if you're looking to expand your pet collection.

I completely agree, I actually just got a hamster a few days ago after my beardie passed. He died young because of a virus that he’d had from the start and I’m heart broken. He was one of my best friends. They can be complex to care for (probably more than hamsters) but they are so worth it! I never thought I’d have such a strong bond with a lizard.

I found my own bearded dragon a couple years ago when we were at Petco. She had a clubbed foot and I wanted her so bad that we got her the next day on Christmas Eve. She was my first ever reptile and I had her for a couple of years, but she sadly passed two years ago from complications with egg binding. Anyways, they are one of the sweetest pets. She would chill on my chest when I was laying down and I would kiss her nose and she would reach out and lick mine. Very strong bond

Or a crested gecko their pretty chill too plus their low maintenance, since Jenna and Julien are always vlogging editing etc plus having 4 dogs to take care of already so I think they’d appreciate something low maintenance. However I agree beardies are great too I had one die young sadly as well :/ I miss him every day- he used to hang with my dog and our chillest cat and they’d chill next to me while I sat with him on my chest, sometimes he’d ride on the dogs back for a bit, he also would perk up when he saw me near his cage. He was jus the sweetest lil thing. Id say both crested geckos/gargoyles or Beardies would be a good choice for her and her lifestyle especially since ads passing- RIP lil Ad🐹💙- but I also think that she can do whatever she wants and I’ll still watch her vids jus hope someday she gets another lil fren again. - ps Hi J&J if y’all read this hope y’all get another smol bean someday, love ur vids guys keep up the good work:). Otherwise random person that stumbled upon this have an amazing day.:)

When she called Ad handsome. Wow. I started CRYING. I’m having some life problems and my bunnies always cheer me up. I call one of them my “handsome little man” because that’s what he is. He’s my handsome little man. Just to know that there is love and care in the world besides me and my two bunnies just makes me so happy. RIP Ad. I love how she says it's over kill as she adds more bedding. When in fact, the more bedding the better for hamsters. They love to burrow under their bedding and it's said they need at least 6 inches of bedding to burrow, the fact she's mixing a bunch of bedding together gives him an amazing layer to burrow in as well as it has different texture to each layer. :3

Yeah. Overkill? Nah, you can never put too much bedding. This is a kiinda decent amount but for proper burrowing she can go with more XD because hammies basically live underground majority of the time

I’m sad he died. But you gave him the best life ever, and I hope when you are ready you get another hamster to love that much. Someone that loves that much needs to keep loving.

if you guys ever decide you want to get another small pet, a blue tongued skink would be a good option! they have a lifespan of 15-20ish years and they’re super fun! i have one and he’s an angel, they’re pretty easy to feed as well, and the tank you had for ad would work great for one! they’re sweethearts and they love being pet and bathed. absolutely love my lil guy!

One day I want Jenna to get a reptile. Even if she never posts about it. I just could see her chilling with a bearded dragon. I think she’d love having one cuz reptiles can live to be 20 years or more. I’ve had my snake since 4th grade and I’m 26 now. And he’s still thriving.

The cage was too small however pet stores are mostly to blame as they do not educate people on what hamsters actually need and give the impression they are easy and chilled pets to have where as actually they need time and attention and a lot more space than people realise but Jenna did an amazing job at researching what her Hammy needed and gave him the absolute best life possible

It’s hard though. Not everyone that gets a hamster (or whatever pet) has the money to upgrade their animal’s cage/needs/wants. I think research should really be done before the pet is purchased that’s why giving pets as gifts isn’t a good idea unless the person receiving the pet has the supplies and has done their research.

I have pet rats and i loooove switching up their cage, they get so playful and curious! Thankfully my dog for some reason doesn’t care that they are there at all, I try to get him to look and be excited but he ignores them hardcore

I think it's super nice that Ad picked the best time :] He saw his awesome new cage, enjoyed it for a bit, then was content and decided to go. It's not like caged pets get any choice other than when to go, he picked a good time, it was the best time in his life.

I'm so barely turkish that it hurts (i'm half polish half turkish, born in the US, and literally only speak english) but yeeee i watch jenna

Needing a comfort video- immediately thought of this one

I feel bad for my hamster now.... I bought him two tiny tale cages and connected them but I still feel like its not good enough.... but I'm thirteen and have zero income. I wish I would have saved up for an aquarium but everyone in my family kept telling me that the cages were fine. If you are planning on getting a hamster please don't be stupid like me, and get it a proper home😔

check out munchie’s place. she does really good reviews of those cages. you can buy like those big long storage bins tho for now till you can buy a nice tank. you’re ok you just weren’t fully aware 💜

It would be very stressful for the hamster is ya didn't know.....

Some people have exotics for a decade or more and don’t give them anywhere NEAR this level of care, and Jenna did that for something that lives for 3 years max. All pets deserve this amount of love

Umm hamsters aren't toys and I don't recommend them to kids. Older kids, like me, should be fine with them cause I don't treat my hamster like a toy.

Placing the wrapping paper behind the hamster homestead made a tremendous difference!!! Hashtag- CAGE CHANGER 😉👏👏👏

"He's so cute! Why do I love him so much?!" -literally the basis for why we humans keep pets. Revisiting some videos because I miss Jenna. I hope she's happy, healthy and well. Man I miss her though. She's always been an incredible pet parent and I hope she knows what a good pet mom she is. There are so many people that own hamsters that do not give them proper space, nor proper room today, nor proper care, and Jenna was sensitive to all of these things and more, she is the perfect positive example of why you need to do research.🤗

As much as I love Ad, my absolute favourite thing about these kind of vids are how excited and loving Jenna is whenever she takes care of her pets it's absolutely adorable T.T
