I think they understand what it's like to not have much so they help whenever they can and i appreciate that so much ❤️ I gave my daughter £50 for her birthday and she saw a homeless man and went and spent half of it on food for him and gave him the rest of it and honestly i was in fucking tears and so proud to call her my daughter 👏🏼💖

Sorry, but it’s really no big deal when someone is begging for money that they got for free then they give you that dollar! The money the beggars have is free money, they never work for it. Standing holding a cardboard sign saying they need help isn’t working! You know there are professional beggars that own homes and cars. They actually put on dirty clothes and torn shoes and stand in the intersection with their cardboard signs!

All these content creators that do these things should be preserved at all cost, they are basically walking video charities. The bonus there is they not only make the days and lives of the people they help better. They also improve the days and lives of their viewers through all of their acts of kindness. Even if you don't have faith in a god, having faith in humanity can go a long way toward keeping hope alive for a lot of people. These channels provide that and so much more. Thanks DAWS, is so nice that you chose to ask the many true heroes, those down and out, willing to give, where you made their YEAR! You will never be forgotten, throughout their whole lives! It's truly, so hard to see the veterans of the country, who have given so much of their lives for their country, to now be homeless, and begging for $$. They deserve SO much better treatment, after all they've seen in war, most with PDST yet found on the streets trying to get enough $$ just to feed themselves.

Dawson, I actually love the idea of asking someone for $1 first for a couple reasons. First, it really helps make the world a more fair place by rewarding those who have a generous heart, but are on hard times. I live in NJ but travel to NYC for work. I make it a habit to carry at least a couple dollars in my pocket for homeless people. I know most people don’t carry cash all the time but this is why I do. I don’t feel comfortable reaching into my wallet so it’s easier to pull a couple dollars from my pocket. Please always help those in need! ❤

This made me cry. Not just for the wonderful people who gave what little they had, but really, more for those sad people who not only brushed him off but were even rude to boot. I hope these people never have to be put in the position of begging for a dollar. I know what it feels like to go to school with no allowance and having a classmate who had very little share what she had while some kids with overflowing lunch boxes laughed.

What I find absolutely insane, is how $1,000 can completely change some people's lives. To bring them to actual tears, to get them off the streets, etc. If there was a case for UBI for those under a certain amount (even if for a short duration of time), this video should be Exhibit A. Thanks BDTV for doing this!

I couldn't get a job because I didn't have an address, but i couldn't get an address without having a job. I went to work through several temporary services. I actually had 3 ( three ) of them that didn't even pay me. But i eventually saved enough money to get a place to live. And then i got a regular job.

Giving money to random people and college students is one thing.. but giving money to those who are homeless and really struggling to live day by day is something else.. Keep doing what you do Dawson! God bless you

I am an old man in my seventies and i worked hard all my life. I used to think anyone could get a job and do better. I kind of looked down on people holding signs saying help me. That was until the early seventies and the energy 'crisis' hit and we went into a depression. Not a recession but it was a depression for carpenters. I searched every day for a job and after a couple months i found one. I had to do all the interior trim in a house for only forty dollars. I did get by but that was a hard time for a man with a wife and kids. I would not eat for days at a time so my family could eat what little i could buy with my small payday. Now i don't think everyone could work. Situations are different. Thank you for helping these folks who really do need it. You will be blessed.

Any sensitive person will be emotional in tears after witnessing the emotions of the generous ones. What's more is, the poor are really generous than the wealthy looking ones. How contrasting!

This is what you should do too often. You help the people who really need help and you get genuine gratitude.

Well done Dawson. Give away even more to the homeless and poor.

Poor people deserve the real love and care, because they have a big hearts with full of pain and sadness.. god bless you Dawson, we want to see more videos like that, nothing better than helping those poor people in this strange world these days..

Thank you using your influence for good. I love this trend content creators have been going towards lately. this is the shit that makes me cry. I wish I had enough money to give to others like this and see how happy they get. I know what it’s like on that end not knowing where food is gonna come from.. you really have no idea how much of a blessing you are.

Although its downplayed because veterans often get themselves addicted to substances, there is truly no real support system for them once they arrive home from serving. PTSD is so real.
