I am really happy for your. My cases got sort of repaired came back, they can at least be taken off with a little power now. I hope the amount of power i need to exert on the cases will become less as days passes.

Mine sticks a bit too. Give it a quick fist bump on the lid downward to release the sticking.

Cases look great though. Did you get the 38L version? Are they able to fit any helmets

Thank you for the video. I had the same problem, but it was worse than yours, the case wouldn't leave the bars. we had to open up the locking system to let go the case. Did you solve your problem?

The problem has got less after continually taking them on & off about 100 times. It seems they need a bit off wearing in. However they still need muscle to get them off. But at least they come off now.

+Jim Fazzalari Mine was a little tight at first and I tagged everything really well with WD40 lubricant. I'd suggest maybe greasing it or lubing it well. Make sure you spray the clipping mech (located on box) and the top part of the bars. The idea is to get the lubricant inside the boxes latching mechanisms.

is there any imbalance during the ride coz side cases are different distances from the bike?

Jim, when it wouldn't release or was sticky... did the indicators go to red... or did they stay green or what? i've got an issue with mine not releasing... one indicator goes to red, one stays green. I haven't put a lot of "English" on it yet to see if i can get it to pop off like you did.

The both went red. I used a little spray lube on them. They are still a little sticky but I have taken them on & off so many times now it doesn't cause a problem.

do you know... is the indicator area stuctural/functional in locking the cases on... or are they just indicators? wondering if i bother trying to lube that up... or just try to get to the latches.

They are structurally built into the mounting system. Try lubing first this should free them a little. I found that once you get a bit of dirt in the mechanism they tend to wear in. Good luck & ride safe.

well, went to the garage this morning, put the key in, gave the case a little thump on the lid, pulled the latch and it opened plain and simple. will lube it up a bit this afternoon.

:) This is not a problem. You should learn to use the mechanism correctly.

You should be ashamed. It is clearly seen that first you close and then reopen the locks and then with your hand you open the device. If I were in Givi I would denounce you for damage of image.

I have had these for over 5 years and now are working fine as they have worn in. They are great and have been worth every cent. I suggest before you post negative comments, get all the facts and learn to write decent English.
