I tried this, unfortunately the last two tabs are still sticking out. I'm left to think that mix and matching is not possible for every possible combination, therefore I'm left with the only option of buying the unification kit. Thanks anyways for the video!

Thanks for that guide ! Got my trekker TRK52B key to fit my DLM30B ! I think its a better solution than buying new locks, more economical, less waistful. Too bad givi doesn't give any documentation or option to buy the inner springs and metal brackets.

Great video, it got a bit confusing for me from 1:42 onwards, when you were swapping the keys. Perhaps you can add subtitles to the video showing when you have the "old" key when you have the "new" key in the process?

Thanks for watching. All I did after 1:42 was remove the spare key & inserted the (1) key that will be used for all three boxes.

So, I have 3 cores given to me by the dealer...and I installed a Givi Dolomiti 46L top box one....can I set the core to the Ignition key (for the bike) and use IT to lock/unluck my new Givi Topbox like this too?

I would not much care if my top case and side pannier keys doesn't match than go through such procedure 😂😂

Did you buy a set of wafers (pins) to make your existing cylinders match? Where do you buy those?

I used the existing pins. I just swapped them around to get them to match the key for my top box. It’s tedious but it works. They do sell the matching key core kit for around $50, but you can save a few bucks if you do it yourself. Thanks for watching hope it works for you. !!Like and Subscribe!!
