I never knew I wanted a (faux) Crocodile skin bag until now and definitely a future purchase I have to make. Also, you have the same last name as my mother. People often think she is a doctor, especially because she used to work at a hospital and can't comprehend that it is an actual last name haha.

Hey just discovered your channel 👋 Yes! The D ring thing - those slits do line up and strap slips out, never both at the same time though hahaha 😆 I don’t rely on the shoulder strap much but Givenchy should improve their hardware to alleviate this problem. Great video, thank you! I have a medium & small antigona. Back in the day, big bags were in and I thought small wasn’t practical…what was I thinking? Small is fine. I should sell my medium I guess.

I have the Givenchy antigona small in croc shiny leather and I love it, but I wish that I would bought the mini instead because I just find the bag too heavy. I also had the mini in an orange color which is why I wanted the small, but because it's so heavy I don't use it that often.😔💕

Yea, the smooth leather on the antigona is not like the smooth leather on some other bags like Celine (which scratches super easily), so you don’t have to worry about it as much. Hi there, I just bought a brand new small black croc Antigona from SSENSE and upon inspection, I found a very thin line for about 1-1/2 inch somewhere at the front of the bag and 1 very small bubble at the backside and 1 at the feet of the bag. Are these normal leather imperfections or will you consider these as slightly damaged bag? Thanks in advance for your reply!

This bag style still holds up years later

Got the mini croc one after this vid. Do you know how to adjust the strap length? I've been tryna figure it out foreverrr and their customer service wasn't very helpful :(

Thank you for a great review. I have the small in the pebbled leather and have just ordered the mini in the faux croc, but I wish I'd seen your review first. How extremely stupid of Givenchy to make the strap attachment so insecure. I am specifically getting the mini to sling across my body when I'd heading to work on my bicycle. Imagine the bag just falling off then. I hope that they've spotted this glaring design flaw since your review and changed it, but this thing has been selling like hot cakes so why change when you're winning, right? So disappointed, since I also have Givenchy boots and shoes and everything has so far been of the highest quality.😡.

Yes mine fell staring in puddles twice on a rainy day😖 thankfully the material is amazing I just dried cleaned it with paper towel and it’s like it never happened. The strap snapping off is my biggest cons. 😡😡

I have lately noticed a golden brownish copetudo undertone on my black that i did not noticed when it first arrived. Now I’m not sure if I like that or hate it . I was wondering if yours has that undertone as well.

Thanks so much for watching. The small size does get heavy if you put a lot of items in it. I don't really notice it on a day to day basis because I don't carry very much with me. When I am traveling, however, I do like to carry a bit more, so I would probably not choose to take my small antigona traveling with me. In addition, it is a bag that does not lay flat against your body, which is important to me when I travel. xoxo

I do believe the mock croc is more gorgeous..i hv a ysl mock croc camera case and its my favourite n i admire its beauty more than my chanels

I have a small grey croc and picked up the mini in a pink shade. I ended up returning as for some reason the size of the mini seems when carrying some how the d ring for the strap manages to come unhooked. I had seen another youtuber talk about that and ignored since my small doesn't do that....but the mini definitely does. I ended up returning given that issue just annoyed me and swapped for a Fendi Kan I bag. Sad that this seems to be a regular issue with this bag.

Hi Carol! Thanks for watching. Wow, that's good to know that I am not the only person who has experienced issues with the strap falling off. It hasn't happened with my new croc antigona but it definitely has with my red pebbled leather mini antigona. It's so unfortunate that you had to sell yours. Givenchy must be hearing a lot of complaints.

Thank you for such an informative comparison. I’ve heard numerous KZreadrs mention that their straps have fallen off. That’s a major concern.

Debra Quaka yesss it is!!! I purchased mine on Black Friday and have not stopped wearing it since I received it. I’m in love!! BUT... the strap does come off constantly, it is so annoying. I was wearing it yesterday and both times that I got out of my car the strap came off and it fell in the floor and it was pouring raining so it fell on paddles both times. So aggravating.! To me that’s my biggest con.

Yes!!...My strap falls off on the Medium. So annoying!!

Excellent reviews! I recently purchased the mini in calfskin and will try using invisible ring adjusters to help secure the straps.

In my research to buy my bag, I have found that most people who owned givenchy antigona said the smooth leather one is better against scratches, weather and holds its shape better than the pebbled leather. I hope this information helps 😁
