Prayers for healing for your family and strength for you. My favorite fabric is the fabric that I bought to make face masks during Covid. Due to lung issues I didn’t get any made. Bought all the fabric on sale of course. I’m new to quilting yet have seen since age 8 learning while in 4-H for 10 years. Loved teaching English smocking w pre-pleated fabrics I love Riley Blake fabricsdesigners and Lori Holt. I enjoy your videos and look forward to more in the future. Overlapping the batting for straight edge pieces is genius. Oh I’m using all the fabric I bought to make myself a double sided California king size quilt. Enjoy browsing internet for free guilt blocks and then designing which pattern and fabrics to see the block I served my country in USAF as registered nurse 74-76 as we pulled out of Vietnam. Asthma/copd is service related. I am making myself and 3 other veterans Quilts of Valor and can use parts of my fabric stash as well as buying patriotic fabrics on sale I’ll be a mature 75 on July 11th and quilting has sparked a new joy in life. Continued success Loved the doll quilt I made your daughter. Will make some for the porcelain dolls I made w smocked outfits. Denyse schmidt has been one of my favorites over the years. Also some of the art gallery designers like Sharon holland and Amy sinibaldi. Lately I’ve been liking a lot of moda and Riley Blake designers. I guess I just love fabric in many styles. Congrats on the one year mark! Still praying for your family.

Happy anniversary! I’m very new to the quilting world and have been fining my fabrics in thrift stores. I recently found some adorable fabric by Michael Miller. So, currently this is my favorite designer.

Congratulations on your one year anniversary!!! I do the same thing with my batting. I keep all of my old batting in a bin and if I have something that I need a piece I can just pull it out and sew it together. I would have to say Riley Blake would have to be my favorite.

Congratulations on 1 year strong and growing! I also love Lori Holt fabrics because I like most of her pattern and color choices. I'm new to quilting, so I don't know many designers yet. I'm fan of batiks and tone on tone. My absolute favorite designer is the one who has fabric I like that is affordable for me to buy. I call myself a penny pincher and will browse for hours looking for the best deals/bargin for my nearly non-existent fabric budget. Thanks for the video and chance to win! Great tip about overlapping the batting and making a clean straight cut for sewing the batting together. That's what I should have done the other day, but I didn't think of it. If anyone has any recommendations for low-cost fabrics, I sure would appreciate them. Goodluck everyone on the giveaway!

Congrats on one year! I have used the web tape to join batting with pretty good success. I will try your method for smaller pieces. I like many fabric designers and it really depends on the mood I want to create. I will say Lori Holt as these have been some of my prettiest quilts.

Way to go on your first year. I still have yet to push myself to get started and serious about it, I'm still on the fence. I like how you cut that batting!! That is definitely a tip that I will hold onto. I was doing some organizing in my craft room that I call "The Realm" last night and ran across some batting join tape that I forgot I purchased for a QAYG project. I don't know that I have a favorite fabric designer, but I am drawn to Robert Kaufman batiks. I have like two of Tula's fabrics, (black and white lol) so, I'm entering your giveaway in hopes of changing that. I hope you have a fabulous new year!
