Love the concept here, while I'm not a fan of metal putty, it certainly did the job! Also, while someone else mentioned this, I believe is thould be repeated: if you reduce the debth of the blade and put a plastic sleeve in the handle, it would be a perfect sheath that doesn't damage/dull the blade 😁

if the knife thickness is smaller than the pipe, the handle could become the sheath....
