Too bad Iorveth, and basically everyone you meet from Iorveth's path are missing in Witcher 3

I found the other consequence, Scoia'tael will appear at Flotsam waterfall area during the night. At first, they are hostile. After I gave Iorveth sword, they no longer attack me.

I know there's basically a whole different game to be played if you go with Roches path. But I could never bring myself to abbandon Iorveth.

If you punch Iorveth and he gets captured, you can still pick Iorveth's path for Act 2. The finale of Act 1 will just be slightly different. You'll assault the prison barge instead of tricking your way to it.
