"GIVE DOC THE SHOTGUN" Doc Holliday American badas
Some years after the death of Doc Holliday, Wyatt was quoted in an interview as saying, "Doc was a dentist, not a lawman or an assassin, whom necessity had made a gambler; a gentleman whom disease had made a frontier vagabond; a philosopher whom life had made a caustic wit; a long lean ash-blond fellow nearly dead with consumption, and at the same time the most skillful gambler and the nerviest, speediest, deadliest man with a six-gun that I ever knew."Download oin this chann/Users/jeffreyschreckler/Desktop/License_823483 - 2022-2025-2.pdfel to get access to perks:

I know this is going to sound weird, but Dc H in this movie saved me as a kid. I wasn’t very big and for lots of reasons very sickly as a child. I remember watching him (as a teenager) say “I’m in my prime” and just channelling so much internally to say “make the fricking best of it!” I know it’s cheesy, but real story that made a meaningful change in my mindset back then. ❤️

The back story to Doc saying "That's a hell of a thing to say to me" is that The Earps father was Doc's lawyer when he was accused of murder, which he honestly did not commit, here in Missouri, Fredricktown to be exact, when the Earp boys when were just kids and Doc lived with the family, back in those days when the accused made bail they were generally remanded to the custody of their lawyer, Doc lived with the Earps for 19-20 months while waiting for trial and while the trial was going on and became an extended member of the Earp family, In the movie when Texas Red asks Doc "Jesus Doc you should be in bed, why the hell are doing this?" and Doc says "Because Wyatt Earp is my friend" is a misqoute, According to Texas Red Doc actually said "Because Wyatt Earp is my brother", supposedly they changed it in the movie because it would take too long to explain and it would detract from movie, thats why at the end of the movie when Doc was laying in bed dying Wyatt squeezed Docs hand and said "Goodbye Brother, see you down the road".

@@charlesdalton985Not two angles of the same shot. It's two different takes entirely. And they either accidentally (or intentionally, through bad judgement) put two different takes into the film despite one take having the gun at shoulder height and the other take having the gun at waist height. If a director wants to show the same shot from two angles the way to do it is to use two angles of film from the same *take*, that way the gun is in the same position, the actor being shot falls the same way, etc. This way, continuity is maintained.

The actual gunfight took less than 30 seconds total. But, without editing you wouldn't see any of it and know what was going on. So, if you compress all of the first dozen or so edits into the same couple of seconds, the first shotgun blast doesn't come very long after the first pistol shot. Also, if (and it's a big if) you somewhat regularly fire your pistol from horseback, then your horse may become accustomed to that sound and not spook. The shotgun is altogether a louder boom.
