Thank you, InCycle, for these video recaps. And I like the enthusiasm of the announcer--he gets me to the edge of my seat and I almost fall off every time.

Amazing by Thomas to get back up to 11th after the fall. Dumoulin is amazing to watch time trial.

Can someone explain how Tom Doumilan is able to have such a huge margin in the time trials? And what makes a time trialist good compared to a GC rider? Is it the form or posture? I just can't imagine that they be that dominant over the other GC riders but his Tom's margin over the others is obviously proving otherwise.

Ability to sustain a very aerodynamic position for a long time and being able to push high wattage in it as well. For many riders it is about the compromise between aerodynamics and comfort as they cannot hold the same watts in a very aggressive position. Also, not everyone has the same aerodynamics, bodyshape in itself can be a game changer (broad shoulders really do not help).

Next TT about 30K so TECHNICALLY we could add another 1min 30sec (conservatively) on Tom's overall lead - so that's roughly 4mins lead (TECHNICALLY speaking). So, with the remainding mountain stages can Nairo and Co honestly peg back 4mins + from Tom. I don't believe so !!!!!!!

John ARTWELL It's a much flatter tt though. It's 10 km shorter in distance but it's much shorter in time, so he probably won't win 1:30 his rivals, but maybe a minute will be possible if he has a good day.

I think he'll win. Don't forget there's also a TT to come and if he climbs at his own pace they're not gonna take enough time. His climbing sure improved.

The climbs we have seen aren't mountain stages but were one climb at the end of the day , they are going to go 2000 m in altitude which is Quintanas habitat and Tom will get easily dropped
