Things to note, his rotation and decision making. He goes over the pads across the field while rotating, takes wide rotations this is extremely good for a diamond player as he gets back stays out of the teammates way and shows that he is rotating back. His mechanics are rough but it seems thats how people judge players nowadays.

It's crazy how, nearly a year and a half later, the lower ranks have grown. The first guy looked gold 1 or 2 at best to me. Plat is just a different rank to what it used to be. Even gold 3's are getting quite good.

First guy wasn't mechanically near diamond but his positioning and some of his rotations were actually really high level. Just because his mechanics are... shaky at peak doesn't mean he is automatically bronze. His playtime felt like a counterattack style although it was no qhere near polished enough. I wouldn't say he doesn't deserve his rank but it could've been a bad day.

Tbf, on the second dude, bronze and silvers are scarcer than SSL’s combined, meaning there’s generally a wide skill range from people who just started, to smurfs, it doesn’t necessarily mean they’re bad
