is Hyolyn better than Bora, coz BORA is the MAIN DANCER and not HYOLYN but again HYOLYN is monster good! I still think that: 1. Minzy 2. Hyoyeon 3. Hyuna 4. Hyolyn/Bora can u do a ranking of the second gen of idol dancers

Don't forget, Hyoyeon is the ONLY female contestant that has ever won an episode of a dancing competition, Hit The Stage, where main dancer of kpop groups compete against each other. (She even beat male dancers!) Also she topped the female category each week throughout the competition period. Hyoyeon IS the best female dancer in the industry.

@Ji0 there is a reason why sohyang won less awards than taeyeon. Sohyang is not as active in the industry especially when she refused to sign up with major labels and therefore, lack of promotion of her songs. If she were as active as taeyeon she could easily dominate any award show, period. You can't really use that analogy when there is not a single award show in South Korea that awarded a singer for their vocal ability. Singers are usually awarded based on their album sales, streams, when clearly Taeyeon has the upper hand compared to Sohyang, even when Sohyang is leagues above Taeyeon.

@Ji0 dude, you're discrediting Hyoyeon as if she doesn't know how to freestyle as well. Not to mention she mastered pop and lock, she could dance to ANY genre. Versatility? Which is exactly she topped the female dancers in Hit the Stage where every week they danced to DIFFERENT genre.

Lol, the weaker dancers are the stronger vocalists. That makes SNSD a legend.

i still think hyoyeon dances more cleanly and precisely than yuri. i could think of their onstage dance break to in to The New World. when both came out on that dance break, yuri's dance looked a little messier than hyoyeon's. hyoyeon's was very precise and clean. this reminds me of park shin hye's dance "showdown" in Heartstrings with the show's main dancer. even though PSH could carry out the choreo, she looked very loose and messy. very little core stability. the main dancer looked very clean and precise in her movements. her core was very stable and tight

I feel like Yuri is a criminally underrated dancer like everyone knows shes a lead dancer but they do not realise just how good of a dancer she is

i am a yuri ult, so take this with a grain of salt, but for a while (around the time of cmiyc) some sones did start referring to her as a main dancer alongside hyoyeon. and honestly, i feel like that is a fair assessment/move. similar to how momo and mina are both considered main dancers within twice - mina and yuri are both extremely talented, and could/would be main dancers in nearly any other lineup. BUT they happen to be groupmates with exceptionally talented, era-defining dancers.

SHY my favorite subunit we never had

One thing abt snsd dance ability is that I realised how neat it is and it shows how much they are very experience idols. I was shocked tht Tiff is last yet I feel her dance does not lack anything as an idol dancer, and none of snsd is lacking. They are very well trained, neat, experienced even when some of them are not born dancer. They are not stiff, and all of them do know how to conquer stage and perform.

Hell yeah to Sunny being ranked so high! I've been saying it for years, she's *criminally* underrated, both as a dancer and as a singer. I get that everyone has their own bias, but the amount of bashing I've seen over the years just because she isn't "as pretty" as some of the others is eventually what drove me away from Kpop and its fandom. I do believe she adapts very well and she's just pleasant to watch on and off stage.

THANK YOU for recognising Sunny! It's sad to see her forgotten, and it's been happening ever since their debut. Even rumours of her being added just because her uncle was Lee Soo Man or something, just acting like she's completely untalented. Her dancing is great AND her singing is great too! Her vocals aren't even far off Seohyun. After being a fan of SNSD for so long it's nice to see some acknowledgement.

There's a reason why Yoona is part of Girls' Generation's dance line. In their songs, her moves are very sharp that she's the only one you can see during their choreo. She can dance to any genre from cute to sexy. Her isolation is really good and she can do freestyle. She's one of the members who rarely make mistakes on stage and she knows when to use her energy. As a SONE for 8 years, I would place Yoona as 3rd best dancer in SNSD. She was able to showcase her dancing ability more than Sunny throughout their discography so I don't agree putting Sunny in 4th.

Well that’s the thing. Yoona is an expert when it comes to idol dancing, hence why she excels in all of SNSD choreos. But whenever there’s a special dance performances, either for year-end shows, variety dance show, or SM concerts, I’ve been noticing her dancing is not venturing out of her idol dancing, while Yuri, Hyoyeon, and Sooyoung clearly have shown their versatilities to do styles different than idol dancing. I’ve been thinking Sunny was better than Yoona when looking at stages like Sorry Sorry - Super Junior cover where Yoona and Sunny were placed in the same lineup. Sunny is better as a technical dancer, but Yoona is better as an idol dancer. Overall, I think Yoona is 100% crafted to be the center material, which is why her dancing, singing, acting and visual are all perfect for an idol.

I really want someone to talk thoroughly about HyunA, coz her dancing is HEAVILY towards sexy styles, which sometimes make people doubt about her skills. I'm one of them too, coz I rarely see her dancing in other styles ("Change" is an exception), but her dance in "How this" is seriously impressive.

@@Catz1a because she (hyoyeon) knows how to adjust her power when dancing in a group. sunny once told in an interview that it is a covenant between members to be balance and not trying to outshine everyone most of the time. if hyoyeon dance with her all, seulgi (whom i think is one of the top 5 best main dancer of new gen) will definitely fall lower than queen hyo

Catz1a I wouldn’t say so. The thing or the strength of Hyoyeon that other idol dancers cannot rival is her versatility. Even within 2nd generation main dancers such as Minzy, Luna, Bora, etc., Hyoyeon still has the upper hand. This is due to her ability to dance to different dance styles and excel at it, meanwhile, other dancers look uncomfortable or stiff when dancing in styles outside of their forte. Some idol dancers are extremely good at powerful and in-your-face type of choreos but lack in control and looks extremely stiff and uncomfortable when doing feminine moves. There are also idol dancers who are good with being sexy and fluid, but lack in power when executing hip-hop-like moves. But Hyoyeon, on the other hand, having trained professionally in dance styles such as popping and locking, handles powerful choreos with such ease and control. And being an SNSD member, and having trained in SM for 7 years before debuting, also allowed her to master the basics when it comes to idol dances. She also went to Dancing with the Stars in Korea and showcased her ability to catch up on dance sports which she never tried out before joining the competition (she then won 1st runner up). There is so much more to being a dancer than just executing flashy moves, you also have to consider the technique that goes behind every execution of move. Strength, power, fluidity, flexibility, sharpness, control, etc., all of these things make a good dancer. In this case, Hyoyeon possesses it all.

My Dance/Performance Ranking as a SONE with reasons 1. Hyoyeon - Literally SNSD'S Dancing Queen. Most powerful dancer among them. Can dance multiple genre from hiphop to ballroom. A total package. 2. Yuri The sexiest member with great dancing skills. Good isolation and stage projection. I think she only falls behind Hyoyeon because of her inconsistency and tendency to forget the steps. She sometimes get out of balance maybe due to her height? All in all a great dancer. 3. Sooyoung The most elegant dancer of SNSD. She dances gracefully but sometimes lack power and tendency to underdance however she has a great stage presence. Sones know how sooyoung slay. 4. Yoona The center with the cleanest dancing ability. If you want to learn SNSD's choreography, follow her. A great dancer in the dance line however she doesn't extend or give that much power compared to the other 3. The epitome of being a Center. 5. Jessica The Unbothered Ice Queen. She was in the dance line before, however SM made her focus on singing instead due to anemia. She is the best dancer in the vocal line. She has a tendency to underdance however she still slayed even if she is half assing those steps. What more if she really put effort into it? Our talented Ice Princess. 6. Sunny The Most Expressive performer. She fits whatever mood the songs give. Similar dancing skills with Seohyun however her height gives her the edge. May tend to overdance but it actually fits her. SNSD's Concept Analyzer and Energy Pill. 7. Seohyun The Queen of Harmony. She doesn't lack in anything at all but comparing her to sunny, what she lacks is stage presence. She dance well within the group and blends well within the group. The universal performer, Our maknae. 8. Taeyeon The only powerful singer whose dancing was overlooked due to her powerful voice, Our Kid Leader Taeyeon. Don't you agree? She is a very good dancer and does not lack the basics of anything. It is just that she needs to focus more on singing since she is King Taeyeon and dancing was then needed in her profession. She tends to dance manly. A well-trained dancer with good isolations, stage presence and charisma. 9. Tiffany The singer who wants to dance. She has the least dancing capability among the girls however she is also well trained. She has a tendency to forget steps, over and under dancing, and she sometimes dance awkwardly. She learned all the basics of dancing and can learn easily. A trained dancer with great stage presence and adlibs. That is my opinion. In general, I can only see minor issues among the girls. And I miss them.

Hyoyeon improved the least compared to other members because she already is the best dancer out of all of the girls ever since the beginning of their debut 😍😍😍

It's not she didn't improve much, it is because when your dance flaws aren't obvious in the first place people don't see it. Other people's flaws were obvious and easily noted when improved, but Hyoyeon's dance flaws might have been stuff that is hard to notice so we don't see her improvement when she might have slowly got herself off this planet already (I mean, she's a goddess in dancing)

I already knew Sunny was good and underrated,but i couldn't imagine her being 4. Actually she's good but underrated in everything

This is hella late, but I think another reason why Jessica's dancing abilities/focus on dancing depleted over the years was because of her anemia. Krystal also has the disorder and has fainted onstage many times because of it unfortunately.

Yes finally someone appreciate Jessica dancing skills. Before they debut Jessica is the 2nd main dancer alongside with hyoyeon but due to her anemia sm let her to focus in singing and become the 2nd main vocalist alongside with taeyeon for her health and people think she's a lazy dancer even tho not.

If Tiffany's in 9th place, this just shows how each and every one of SNSD is so powerful, even members of the vocal line are so good at dancing as they have improved tremendously over the past 13 years!

I remember my biggest disappointment with Tiffany was with her I Just Wanna Dance MV - where she did very little actual dancing

Tiffany shared on her interview last year that she had been suffered scoliosis which made her not able to do some ballet dance moves so she has always had to practice 20 times harder than the other. I'm so proud of her that she even has a solo debut song with that hard choreography. SNSD is just so talented💞

People are always comparing them tbh they don't hate each other but they always fought for the 'best'

This is my personal ranking: 1. Hyoyeon - has the power, agility, stage presence and really feels the song with every inch of her body 2.Yuri - has precise movements, power, good facial expressions and a really sexy aura 3. Yoona/Sooyoung - I can't decide who is the better dancer, I feel like they're good at different things. Yoona has very high accuracy and attention to details, in the chorus of Mr. Mr. and Beep Beep only her and Hyoyeon were able to do the hand and body gestures properly. Sooyoung is better at different genres, like hip hop and latin dance. They both lack power compared to Yuri and Hyoyeon tho. 5. Seohyun - Jessica used to rank no.5 between 2007-2010 but Seohyun gradually improved to be better. Seohyun has semi-accurate movements but less agile compared to those ranking above her, and she looks too stern sometimes. 6. Jessica - used to have power and agility in dancing, but gradually lost her edge. Also is a bit too elegant when dancing (her moves look different from the others) and it sticks out in a group 7. Sunny - she's actually good, but over-dances a bit too much; her moves look very different from the others sometimes, too bouncy and energetic I would say 8. Taeyeon - can do the moves as they should look like, but lacks stamina and power; as a vocalist, it's good enough though 9. Tiffany - can be quite stiff at times, and her moves become simplified, but her stage presence and enthusiasm make her stand out

Here's my personal thought and you could disagree: Seohyun used to be stiff because of her reserved personality, her technique was there but it was undermined, after she matured and became more confident her body expression also improved.

I’m so glad that you included “If this ranking were made in late 2000’s to early 2010’s, Jessica would’ve been higher up the list”, cuz I think the exact same way, as a Sone from Kissing You/Girls’ Generation/Baby Baby era. I think from debut all the way to around Run Devil Run/Hoot era, Jessica were much higher up the list and Seohyun and Sooyoung were lower. In my opinion, the dance ranking way back then was: 1. Hyoyeon 2. Yuri 3. Jessica 4. Yoona 5. Sunny 6. Sooyoung 7. Seohyun 8. Taeyeon 9. Tiffany Back then, Jessica was constantly placed in center parts for choruses, intro poses and outro poses, since she was in the dance line and the visual line right next to Yoona. Just to name a few, Into The New World intro dance break, Gee - 1st half of the last chorus, Genie - chorus right after the bridge, Oh - chorus right the bridge, Chocolate Love - 2nd chorus, Run Devil Run - intro pose, Hoot - last chorus, Mr Taxi - 2nd chorus, The Boys - intro pose and last chorus. And let’s not forget Jessica was the only member who got a dance teaser for SNSD debut along with THE dancing queen Hyoyeon, and a bunch of other dances back then where she leaded the dance along with Hyoyeon and other dance line members - Chaotic, Don’t Cha (all my OG Sones would know these performances for real!) But then she gradually put less effort into dancing since she has anemia, and already had to carry the group’s vocals along with Taeyeon (let’s be real SNSD’s choruses back then we’re basically a bunch of Taengsic’s duets). And on top of that, the other girls also have improved their dancings too so Jessica just got less and less dance focuses in SNSD songs. Sooyoung started to surpass Jessica and Yoona and got her own dance spotlights around Mr Taxi era. I just wanted to let folks know that Jessica has the capabilities to dance when she still put her all into it, it’s just unfortunate that her health condition doesn’t allow her to push too hard, and later on her career direction also has drifted her away from her once amazing performing skills.

She was supposed to be the 2nd Main Dancer but they want to focus her on her Main Vocal position. And after TTS debut (not blaming TTS ok?) Jessica's parts becoming less and less. SNSD became TTS and girls back then. So sad that Jessica was always push back and then blame her. 💔💔

Sorry I only agree to your point partially. It's true that Jessica was assigned to handle some significant parts in early years of SNSD, and part of the reason relates to her health condition, and concentrating on assisting Taeyeon in terms of vocal. It is also true that she was trained as one of the lead dancer of SNSD in the pre-debut period as well. However, what I believe the most main reason is that she is always the member who obtains high popularity. SM, without question, put her in front of members and make her a so-called lead dancer. In my point of view, Jessica doesn't dance really well for group dances. If you observe Jessica's dance movements carefully, she did the choreography a bit differently when comparing to other members. (I suggest you watch Hoot's performance, her legs movements in the chorus part was different.) Please be reminded to use the standard of "Group dance", it's mostly about synchronization, right? After criticizing Jessica's moves, I have to say she dance pretty good (maybe above average) when it comes to her solo parts in SNSD songs. She did show her charisma in her solo parts with unique moves. You may say "iT Is hEr StyLe". Sorry but please stop defending her. Please admit that is her weakness.

And Hyoyeon can quickly memorize the choreographies by watching just once or twice! She is incredible

I was pleasently suprised to see Sunny so high. She's a great dancer but I feel like her knee was really hindering her in some of their later performances.

Sunny is always underrated and it break my heart bc she is SO talented. My fave of the group.

As a long time Sone/fan, I’m pretty sure Yuri is one of the official main dancers in the group together with Hyoyeon. Not sure why fanmade profiles don’t state that. Also I really enjoyed this video and I do agree with most of your rankings (tho i would switch Sunny and Yoona) :)

I'm a 12 years fan of GG and i followed them since Gee. There are 2 main dancer and 2 main vocalist in the group the whole time. Yuri shares the position with Hyoyeon even though everybody knows Hyoyeon IS the better dancer. You can see that Yuri got solo dance break too like Hyoyeon and more often than not, get to do duo with her. She also got center dance position a lot with Yoona. Their MVs can proof all of this to you.

Love how Hyoyeon and Yuri keep their 1st and 2nd places from being the top two female dance trainee days until now 😍😍😍

I love how the vocal-line are in the bottom of dance ranking and the dance-line are in the bottom of vocal ranking (however the worst dancer in Soshi still can dance neatly and greatly, and the worst vocalist can hit a highnote). This makes Soshi a complete girl group and each member in the group can support the other very well, there are members in charge of dancing, and the others in charge of vocal. There are several girl groups out there having members handle all the positions included of dancing and singing, and some others are just in the group being a sub dancer having no spotlight.

I literally watched all hyoyeon’s dancing video in youtube esp from her rookie days. Her versatility was awesome esp she mastered isolation, locking, and popping (and footwork). I agree that GG’s dance did not challenged and showcased hyo’s ability thus sometimes her facial expression lack or I must say her passion doesn’t overflow now. It seems she reached the point of comfort in stage and no pressure to prove herself in every stage. It was a pro and con. BUT she DID improved coz she was able to try other dance style like dance sport gosh she was awesome in that show.

it's almost like the choreographers have to scale down the choreography just so the rest of the group could catch up. hyoyeon's skills/natural talents are that strong in that no matter how much the other members trained, they just couldn't catch up to her, and the difference is so glaring in more difficult choreography. thus, to make the group look more even skills wise on videos and onstage, the choreo had to be scaled down

Sunny is underrated danceeeer, indeed. While watching their encore performances, I've noticed she's good at dancing and even had her own techniques (can't describe it haha). Plus points of aegyo she's doing not to make the choreo dull. It means a lot for me. Sunkyu, you're appreciated!

FINALLY a sane video where sunny is above taeyeon and tiffany. Everytime theres a ranking video she always rank below everyone else. taeyeon is very textbook-y and tiffany dances in hard way. Sunny knows how to move her body, her expression, her flexibility, her various of dance style according to the song given etc. Other than that i think jessica should get extra credit cause she always make the dance looks light while making it sharp at the same time. too bad her stamina isnt that good.

Finally, someone who sees Sunny's ability in dance. I ALWAYS thought she was the better dancer after the dance line. She has such a natural talent and feel for dance, it was more apparent in their earlier days. When they did a dance battle against After School and did Michael Jackson, she was so good! I feel like if Jessica kept up with dance, she could be 2nd after Hyoyeon which I know people will disagree with, but watching her predebut, she was such a powerful dancer and also seems to have a natural talent for dancing. I agree with her weaknesses though, Jessica doesn't try to hide her weakness but I think her potential is so good. She has such a distinct style when she actually puts in the effort. Though I agree with Yuri being 2nd, I always felt like she moved quite awkwardly at times and I could never figure out why. I also think Taeyeon, like Jessica, has the potential to be a great dancer.

@@noemita494 by main dancer or vocalist I don't mean first and second. It's an official position given to members by the company. There can be two mains in a group. Both Taeyeon and Jessica were main vocalists, it's just that Taeyeon had better technique and was given more parts and high notes. But they were both officially deemed the main vocalists. This is the same for Hyoyeon and Yuri. They are both main dancers, but Hyoyeon is the better dancer. There is no such thing as a "main and second" in kpop. There is only main vocalist, lead vocalist and sub-vocalist, or main dancer and lead dancer, and each position can have more than one person especially for larger groups like snsd. Main dancers - Hyoyeon, Yuri Lead dancers - Yoona, Sooyoung Main vocalists - Taeyeon, Jessica Lead vocalists - Seohyun, Tiffany, Sunny

For me, 1. Hyoyeon 2. Yuri 3. Sooyoung/yoona - I feel like when snsd just debuted and the first few years after, yoona is still the better dancer because a lot of their dance breaks require power and sharp movements which yoona is better at, while sooyoung was still kind of stiff sometimes... However, I felt like sooyoung generally has a better flow compared to yoona, for yoona I feel like sometimes the different dance movements don't really connect well so she'll look a bit awkward? But maybe it's just me 4. Jessica - I feel like her dance has always been smooth and easy to watch, but I rmb there was a period of time she was called out for being lazy in her dancing although she has anemia so she can't hit hard and powerful dances like she did predebut or at debut... I think after she went solo her dance improved from Mr Mr era but it just didn't match up her predebut/debut dancing abilities 5. Seohyun - she improved over the years, and I feel like she's really consistent but there wasn't any wow factor about her dance 6. Sunny - she's good but 2015 onwards her dance just wasn't as good as before... I remember she had some knee injury in 2015 so she couldn't really execute some moves properly like the squat part for you think, and her dance just wasn't as powerful as before 7. Taeyeon 8. Tiffany Actually I thought the members who tend to forget the dance moves most were sunny and yuri? I rmb watching some variety shows years ago and yuri was talking about how sunny forgets the dance moves and reenacting sunny's reaction when she forgot the moves, but all the other members were like lol u shouldn't be the one saying that cuz u forget the dance moves too and sunny started talking about yuri forgetting moves 😂 I think Tiffany is one of those that remembers the dance moves well? I remember the members talking about how tiff is very hardworking and during weekly idol random dance she was dragging yuri to her positions cuz yuri was so lost haha Damn talking about snsd seriously brings back so much childhood/teenage memories sighhhh :'> wasn't a hardcore fan but I rmb watching a rewatching lots of their songs, performances and variety shows ahhhh

Yuri unnie! My ultimate bias in SNSD! 😊 Her personality wasn't the only reason why I was captivated by her, it was her dancing also. The way she moved and the way she expressed the dance through her facial expression were on point.. ❤❤❤

My ranking begin sone since 2010 and a dancer since 2016: 1. Hyoyeon: She is the best dancer of ALL THE KPOP, and if someone does not agree, I invite you to investigate her, since she debuted as a dancer machine, she is so versatile that she has participated in multiple contests, knows how to do hip hop, popping, salsa , pop, contemporaneo, dance hall, shuffle, etc ... it has everything, body control, stamina, sharp, freestyle, power, EVERYTHING. Finally someone appreciates Sunny!! She’s one of the greatest performers in the idol industry and she should go solo! Please see her dancing bloom, I think a concept like that should be great for her!

For me its 1. Hyoyeon 2. Yuri 3. Sooyoung & Yoona 4. Taeyeon, Jessica & Seohyun 5. Tiffany & Sunny Im a Sone since 2009 and this is what i observed throughout the years.

If Hyoyeon wasn't first I was gonna throw hands. She's my OG bias.

If you watch the dance version of Hoot, you can see that Jessica had the "power" to be one of their best dancers. I just think after that era she focused more on vocals for good rather than dancing.

Simple: Who is a better dancer: Hyoyeon Who is a better idol dancer (stage presentation ) : Yuri

My opinion: Hyoyeon Yuri Sooyoung Yoona Seohyun Taeyeon Sunny Jessica Tiffany (I'm a profissional Dancer)

Should've shown Hyoyeon's stage along with EXO's Kai and Lay. That would be a great addition to the montage while explaining her strengths and weaknesses. If I didn't come across these "ranking idol group members in terms of dancing with explanation", I would've thought Yoona belongs to the top 3 - Yuri, Yoona and Hyoyeon were always seen as the holy trinity to SONEs. Nevertheless, loved the video!

Same, but I am actually 50/50 to TY's ranking before this came out. I remember in their debut days (ITNW), she and Fany are placed in the last row. I thought she improved to the point that she surpassed other members.

thank you for this video I really liked that ranking! sooyoung is my ult of ults and I'm glad you're aknowledging how talented she is because like sunny she's super underrated and sones tend to reduce her to being the funny one in snsd (even tho I think she's now the most multi-talented and well rounded member of the group (just my opinion)). about her confidence, she did talk about how during her debut she felt like she had nothing special to show and that acting in dramas was the first time she felt really confident about her talent. hopefully if she goes back to performing she'll be more sure of herself and show everyone how great of a dancer she is.

There are reasons for me to remain a faithful SONE and for HyoYeon to remain untouched on her pedestal as my ultimate bias in K-pop. I've been a K-pop fan since 2008, I'm 25 and going on 26 soon. SNSD inspired me beyond what's imaginable. HyoYeon is still the best female dancer in the industry because, although she wasn't able to get many challenges through SNSD comebacks, she excelled on her own merit and has mastered so many styles. I say that idols like *HyoYeon* are rare. She's a dancer to the core, but she's come out as a wonderful ID too after so many years of experience (good heavens I'm talking as if she's old and I'm reaching my 60s).

I love the fact that Sooyoung improved both in dancing and singing (I saw another ranking video). Love her acting too. Oh well I’m just being biased 😂

My ranking w/reasons 9. Tiffany -I agree she's more of a singer and rapper than dancer so makes sense why she's so low but she can dance decently (I mean search for her fan video hahaha) 8. Jessica -Unfortunately I wasn't into kpop yet when she was a member (which is smtn I regret) but like Tiffany she may be stiff at times But she's good as well 7. Taeyeon -My Queen she's great just lacks facials THATS ALL 6. Seohyun -She lacks in facials but her stamina is great; an average Kpop idol dancer 5. Sunny -She definetly should be a part of the dance line; flexible, facials, she almost has it all, she just lacks confidence in freestyle and overdances a lot 4. Sooyoung - Geez she's a cool dancer, her height may just be her disadvantage and thus her flexibilty can be weak and some moves may be underdanced 3. Yoona - Visual queen she is a great idol dancer, the reason for her ranking is because of her consistency and stage presence, its strong and somewhat gives a charismatic look on her; however a major flaw in her is that shes more of an idol dancer, memorizing choreos by both her and other bands but not creating any; its also possible that shes focusing on her vocals now more than her dancing 2. Yuri -She could be a main dancer in any other group; her body movements are actually very good for someone who didnt have any dance experience prior to becoming a trainee, she's more of a "sexy" idol dancer (idk the term) than an overall dancer however. 1. Hyoyeon - Before Lee Chaeyeon we had kim Hyoyeon, a freestyle queen, shes one in a million, great rapper, vocal, producer, dancer, and choreographer; if you haven't seen Hit the stage she danced all genres which were all great af, she only tends to both overdance and underdance at times My opinion don't attack me

what i love abt hyoyeon is that she never under dance or over dance, like some main dancers (i feel like momo, lisa and seulgi overdance sometimes and sinb underdances), she found her perfect balance!
