there are a few conversion mods that changes all the character models into the girl's frontline characters. It's also a bit popular in the Left 4 dead 2 modding community.

i'm seeing comparisons to valkyria chronicles for some reason, and im just gonna say, the only thing this video has in relation to valkyria is that its an anime turn based strategy game with arched lines connecting characters that can see each other. its nothing like valkyria chronicles at all, its just anime xcom

@@Eclin xcom has those close in perspectives when characters move, too. only the last one in the turn, though, not every move has that angle. also when a shot is being taken, the camera will fly in close

The way people use "literally" nowadays is disappointing

Now, this is actually amazing, now all I have to do is catch up on the story and jump into this new and improved version of Girls' Frontline. I mean the graphical, and gameplay improvements from this clip alone are simply immeasurable.

If you mean the shot at 2:10, that was a miss, so she only took chip damage. 2:05 and 4:45 are successful hit, they actually dealt 117 and 177 damage.

Dude, have you never played Command & Conquer? In that series, tank cannon does low damage against infantry to the point that running them over is more efficient than trying to shoot them. Heck, in some games a single rocket dude can solo a tank! You need vehicles armed with automatic weapons like APC, IFV, or Gatling tanks to deal with them. Edit: and this extend to house-sized behemoth of a tank like Mammoth Tank and its variations as well.

In GF1, my torturement comes from loving the game but traumatized by the grind In GF2, it's the eternal itching desire of wanting to play it as FPS everytime anybody shoots

I love that game. I wish there'd be a legit Chaos expansion that would give a reason to pile on physical armor, and, of course, assault rifles for techpriests.

You can control characters direcly in VC, this one is a clone of Firaxis remake of X-Com, even the Sectopod that shoots twice per turn is there.

I kinda was hoping for a more third or first person shooter game, but tbh this looks nice too, and does feel like a good evolution to GFL1. Cant wait for it, hopefully it can be like GFL and have even more flexible gameplay style like when they do things differently for the events.

That robot cannon shouldve do more damage and maybe like pin dolls onto the ground because it is literally a tank shell, also i think they should also knock dolls back and atleast add some animations for em Also they should make enemies automatically attacks friendly if they came too close

Exactly what I thought, the cannon should do way more damage so it can complete the feel of it being dangerous, but then again it's still beta haha

man I had to stop playing GFL because microing got too intense and I no longer had the time to allocate to such events that required so much attention. This however, hell yeah looks like something I can do and get back into the GFL world

2:03 Ngl, this big ass metal gear lookin’ ass monster cannon blasted the sniper twice and took away less than 1/4 of her health. I am amazed.

I can not wait for this game, I love these types of chess like-strategy games.

I'm liking this gameplay a lot more than the original's, feels more tactical and fun.

I think the original is based on Kantai Collection gameplay, but adding more tactic to it and less RNG You get things like logistic, production, heavy production, ... even the node-based map

@@tacticalmechtank5556 Like many people have mentioned, it looks like X-Com. I've never played X-Com, the closest thing to this kind of strategy game I've ever played would be Final Fantasy Tactics and Advance Wars. Still, I'm quite interested in trying this game.

Now we just need swimsuit dlc for BOOBA Expansion pack

Man, gotta thanks YT for recommending me this despite I never open any GFL related video on this account. Hopefully GFL2 gave a PC client version so I can play it on my pc when I'm not mobile, this seems a trend after what Genshin does.

Not the same. Girls Frontline 1 was 2D anime turn based. Girls Frontline 2 is top down tactical turn based X Com.

The constant cut away to the TPP for every move is very clunky.

X-Com with the anime girls mods already built in? Sign me up
